Second time here and we loved it again. Do the tasting menu - also the wine pairings were great with it. I’d sub the dessert port out for a big cab or a cab franc but I’m not a port guy. Every dish was amazing in flavor and just perfectly prepared. Textures were spot on. Just the right amount of food. It was a special occasion and they brought out an amazing complimentary dessert, which ended up being more dessert than we could eat, but a cool gesture and crafted beautifully like every other dish. It hasn’t been very busy either time we’ve been here which makes us wonder why, but this is something we end up appreciating. Can relax in their comfy date night lounge chairs, sip great wine, and talk at a normal decibal. Great date place. We will be back.

I love the venue, the ambiance, the food, the flair...The EVERYTHING about Stage! Its staff is so attentive and professional. None can compare! This is why I choose Stage to celebrate my annual rotations around the sun. This was a special year...God blessed me and I was able to celebrate my 70th rotation!

The new menu is fantastic with so many choices. Nice ambience, but was a little awkward as the main dish items we not served at the same time and we waited at lease 10 minutes for the second person to receive their dish. The food was outstanding, though and very innovative.

Drinks and food were really good. There was a guy playing guitar which was also a nice touch to a relaxing evening

Andrew Menard.

To put it simple, you are eating here for the atmosphere. The service was slow, and not all that great. The food, while definitely not bad, was not worth the price.

This review is from awhile back, playing catch up on my reviews.
Place was alright. It's certainly very modern and contemporary, if that's your thing, go for it. Personally, I find it incredibly tacky.
Service was pretty good, it did take longer for us though. We were seated by the window of the view of the street, by the time we wanted to order dessert, we felt forgotten.
Food was.. Okay. Like any other restuarant. Their wellington was not my favorite. Biting into the Steak had quite a bit of resistance, which is strange since from the surface, it looks very pretty and seemingly cooked perfect.
Not really worth it, but maybe it would impress a date with expensive, tacky taste.

Stage is very near our office. So, it's a perfect "pau hana" Friday spot for an early dinner! It never disappoints! Very inventive menu. Always delicious offerings! Friendly, efficient service. Who could ask for more?!?!? (Ya gotta try the "Fish and Chip" appetizer!!)

The bar and restaurant were both nearly empty, but the service was terrible and slow. One person (I think the general manager), was even short and rude.

Everything was excellent! What a cute, funky place. Long been one of my favs. From the amuse Buche to the Kampachi main, food was incredible! Thank you crystal, our wonderful waitress.

Stage is the best restaurant in Honolulu. The craft of chefs Ron, Joy and Cainan are truly inspirational and they are an unbeatable team. From start to finish our meal was truly flawless, as was the wine selections, ambience, decor and service. I highly recommend this place for special occasions and date nights. It's now my go-to. We keep going out to these new, promising restaurants around town and they just don't cut it- but Stage DOES. Run, don't walk, to dinner at Stage. It's truly a remarkable experience.

Creative, delicious food. Not the same old pan-pacific food at most Oahu restaurants. Charming ambiance, excellent service.

So slow! We were the first customers in and another group came in after us. They finished and we were still there! At the end of our meal, there Was a couple left. The food was ok not good. It was over 2 hours and we asked them to rush. Will NEVER GO BACK!

We had tickets to a show and it was a perfect location to grab a meal. The area is large to host many customers and we wanted a more relaxed area for drinks and shared plates. The drink selection was more than adequate and we hit happy hour for our first drink which was a bonus. The food was out on time and we sat leisurely before the theater. We will definitely come back. Also, parking if free and there are ample supply! I wish they would get more customers because it offers great food and wine selection. It is a gem in the area.

Happy to see Amuse Wine Bar accepts reservations. Great location for a pre-show dinner as we had tickets to see SIX at the Blaisdell Concert Hall. Free parking is convenient. Happy Hour menu is fun and you may order from the dinner menu as well. They have a red and a white wine for $12.00 and a special cocktail. 5he wine tasting cards are available and they have a full bar. We had the sliders, grilled cheese sliders, korean chicken, truffle fries, cauliflower and shrimp on baguettes. Everything was flavorful and a good value for Happy Hour. We'll be back!
