Always fantastic food and very kind staff. Only downside is they often close earlier than the hours stated.

I was super excited to finally get a sub from Storto’s—I heard a lot about it and the north shore deli is always packed. I figured their food had to be awesome; however, I was extremely disappointed. I’m an NY’er and know good quality meats and bread. I realized I was probably not going to get a NY/NJ quality sub, which I was fine with, but this wasn’t even close. Pricey for a half (very small) size, a small amount of meat, and the flavor was just not there. Also, oil & vinegar should not mean balsamic vinegar—I’m sorry to say, but I’ve had better subs at Subway or Jersey Mikes. The good thing about this spot—the staff was very friendly. Locals may love it, but for me, the search for a good-quality sub on the islands continues.

Best sandwich ? n Hawaii, pffffft Earls, gentrification sandwiches, IMO, Stortos is classic pono ono kine hunnid!! Truly feel better once I leave either one of their locations. The humans working there are the salt of the earth, truest and nicest staff. Stortos is one of these places that should be listed as a state treasure maybe even National. Small business with amazing product. The papaya dressing is from heaven I swear it. I talk to the gods all the time and it’s their favorite as well, in heaven. Aloha and mahalo, my Friday Sunset 8” stacked with side of pickles made my day, maybe even the weekend. Just love this spot. And keep Earl’s sloppy loppy loopy poopy ovah in kaka’ako. HahahahahHa Awn Mawmma ?Parking: Prowl for meters, if cannot park in loading zone, parking attendants no give tickets anymore.

Jocko's sub prepared as a salad is my go-to order here. Staff is always friendly and I've never had issues with the food.

Awesome handcrafted sandwiches. There is a wait during lunch, but it is so worth the wait. Don't gooey to add papaya seed dressing on your sandwich. Tell them Uncle Dave sent you.

I've been a patron of this place since 1990 in Haleiwa, and after a great day at the beach, this place is one of my go-to spots. The staff are friendly and they're great people. They bake their own bread daily. The vegetables are always fresh. I love this place and will go here always. I always get The Jockos.Kid-friendliness: They have an outside area right out front where chickens roam, so it would definitely entertain the kids.Parking: 5 stalls out front available and more parking available near-by within walking distance.

This is the best sandwich shop on the island! Better than those national sandwich chains. I got the Storto's super sub and it was very filling. The papaya seed dressing is also delicious. The workers were all very nice and caring even during the lunch rush where it seemed very busy.

Great humble little sandwiches. Vegetables are fresh. The bread is cloud like they are so light and soft. The staff is very sweet and friendly. Order ahead and they will be ready for you to swing by quickly and head to the beach as we did. :--)

I was recommended this place by a coworker. There was a line so it must be good I got the full size sand-which and it could probably feed 4 people

Small little sandwich shop located in downtown Honolulu. My sandwich was super fresh and tasted really good. Very clean with no indoor/outdoor seating. For half a sandwich you get a pretty decent amount of food. The sandwich in itself is a meal on its own. Veggies are crisp and fresh as well. They recently raised their prices due to inflation so that’s kind of a bummer but really, the quality of food makes it worth it. Will visit again.
