Straits hosted us for a large group gathering (~20 people). They were very accommodating in making the reservation. The service was excellent and all the pupu's were delicious. Many of the group participants mentioned they had a great time and were all impressed with the venue. I highly recommend Straits Hawaii as venue for both individual dinners and larger gatherings.
Visited multiple times for different dishes. Very nice decor. However, it's not authentic at all if it emphasize as a Singaporean restaurant. But it's not too bad if it's just a fusion cuisine restaurant. One of my favorite Singaporean dishes laksa with o-tah is not even close. Perhaps roti prata is the only one close. The meat inside Nasi lemak tastes good but it's not Nasi lemak. The sauce chicken rice uses is not that strong as it's supposed to be.

They serve the best Calamari on the island! But my fav is Butter Chicken Katsu. The Hainan Chicken was just alright tho.
Had both dinner and lunch here w/o reservation, no waiting time. And the vibe and music are chill and the servers are so friendly.
