Service and vibe are great but verrrry pricey. Happy hour is much more reasonable pricing. Get the guava margarita !

What a rip off. New Years dinner here was really a terrible sham. 3 courses of mediocre food and then a fight at the bar that spilled into the front of the restaurant. I don’t need to waste $180 per person for such a crappy fixed price meal. Never going back. Really disappointed

I have now tried other steak houses like Signature. Different, ie higher class, than Stripsteak

It was my first time using this service, and the service was excellent.
The food was delicious, but I thought the portions were on the small side, which is unusual for Hawaii.
However, our family tends to be picky eaters, so it might have been just right for us.

My family shared dishes such as Washu beef, NZ salmon, scallop pasta, and garlic rice.

Unlike some steakhouses, we were not asked to order one main dish per person, and even when we shared, we were not given any unpleasant looks, and we were able to receive pleasant service.

Service and food was amazing. We had a special table request to see the performer (Dustin) who was also amazing. The host happily arranged to have us to get a better view. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Nick was extremely attentive and made our experience fantastic. The Pineapple Foster is amazing and unique! Definitely a must try if you are in the Waikiki area

Very nice meal. Excellent whiskey list. Great non-whiskey drinks as well.

Service was good and they were extremely busy.

Definitely pricey but given the location in Hawaii you should be expecting higher prices anywhere in the area.

I recommend any of the seafood/steak.

Slightly mixed experience here. Service was delightful. Very nice atmosphere - the restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of a shopping mall but felt relaxed, tranquil and stylish. The majority of food was good - particularly the seafood appetizers (sauce was amazing!) and filet mignon deserve high marks. Dry aged rib eye steak was way too salty, however - could not really taste the meat beyond the salt.

Amazing meal and incredibly knowledgeable and attentive staff. The most expensive meal we’ve had here, but worth every penny!

"We had a fabulous time. The staff from the bartender to the servers were amazing on a very difficult night to be in the top of your game but they were. The food was excellent on every level. The quality and freshness of the ingredients was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant on all levels."Copy review

Can’t speak to regular service but went for NYE dinner and dam that was a ripoff. Mandated set menu that was egregiously high in price, went to find that you got an app and a main (half of which added additional costs) plus dessert, with half of the selections being additional costs that were again, heinously high. Food itself was alright, apps, sides, main, dessert, everything. Service, eh. It was raining, no fault of the restaurant, but they moved a couple other seated tables away to other indoor tables while they left us at the same spot, which happened to be one of the worst positioned. Maybe was reading into it but noticed that all the moved tables were white whereas mine was fully Asian… Anyways, come end of meal, saw the most ratchet WorldStar-esque street fight occur right outside the restaurant (from those who had been inside), cat fight turned into boyfriend brawl. Not anything against the restaurant itself, if anything was a lively episode that I enjoyed but figured I’d note it down. In any case, maybe better during regular service but overall pretty mid experience, especially given the price.

In 2019 we were in Honolulu for two weeks and went there for dinner almost every night, it was delicious and they had a special dessert if you ordered the menu. So tonight we finally went there again and they offered the menu only because it's Christmas. We were excited: and we were very disappointed and the worst thing was, the dessert was a cheap, not tasty piece of cake, what a disappointment after 5 years of anticipation...!

It’s a little unfortunate for me to write this review, but it’s an honest review. The food I excellent. Atmosphere is excellent. Service is sub par. Our server couldn’t handle making individual tabs for our group. He wasn’t overly concerned or attentive to our food requests for intolerances. The restaurant really is beautiful. The food really is great. The service needs better training or maybe that was our server. We spoke to some other groups and they shared the same opinion.

It has now been two weeks since my boyfriend and I visited Stripsteak in Waikiki. We were only in Hawaii for a few days but our first experience here was so good we had to come back a second night. And it wasn't just the food that did it for us, it was the service too. Two weeks later and I still remember our server, Richard. He was simply the best, amusing conversation, quick service, and in one short night he made us feel so special and welcome we had to come back for a second where he introduced us to his very kind manager who's name I believe to be Bob. The second night was even more spectacular. Unbeknownst to us, they were featuring a specially curated four course meal crafted by Chef Michael Mina himself. This set menu was an incredible way to taste a variety of dishes served here. It was simply one of if not the best dining experience I have ever enjoyed. Everything was so decadent and flavourful and rich. My expectations were beyond exceeded, in cuisine, in atmosphere, and in service. I can not recommend this place enough!! Thank you to the staff here for making it such a magical experience!
