Food was good. Felt it was a little overpriced for the area. I live in New York City, where everything is overpriced and it was more expensive than Manhattan.
Absolutely incredible! We make sure to visit every time we are in Hawaii. The food is exceptional. The service is superb. The coffee is amazing, I love that it is French press and every cup is fresh! The filet is buttery soft and a favorite of mine. The whipped potatoes are heavenly. Can't wait to visit again next year.
Everything was amazing. However, at peak times, they don't seat you until 15-30 minutes after your reserved time due to (likely) staffing issues. The hostess is challenged to seat folks. Once seated, though, it is a great experience.
What an exceptionally wonderful place for ambience, service and food. The staff were so friendly and attentive, our sever went above and beyond to be professional and friendly. The food - steak and salad with sides was excellent. The live music - guitarist/singer was also so good and created a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Even though I was late, the staff were very accommodating and it was wonderful. The food was all delicious, the service was great and we had a great time. If I have the chance to come to Waikiki again, I would definitely use it again.
One of our favorite places in Honolulu. We always have an excellent experience when dining here
Excellent food and service! Definitely will return again. Shout out to Jet for taking care of us, amazing experience. Thank you!
Ohana menu with the wine pairing was out of this world! Highly recommend. Service staff extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
The food had surprisingly good portions. They had a special fish market menu for the summer. The ambience is a bit fancy. The lights are dim. They did have a live performer on Saturday night. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. All the tables come prepared with wine glasses in case you ordered by the bottle. I really enjoyed the duck fat fries which they offer as a starter instead of bread. There seemed to be a mix of tourists and people celebrating.
Strip steaks were really tasty but you don’t get much with them and…my god it is expensive for what it is
Restaurantji Recommends
Loved your restaurant. On vacation with my parents for my mom’s 80th. Everything was great but what’s up with the pre-stuffed blue cheese olives. Yuck… hand stuff those babies…
Visited for the first time first time for happy hour. There was certainly nothing happy about it - the first bartender to serve me had a pretty surly attitude - I got the vibe he didn’t really want to be there. Very inattentive and got my food order wrong which I am aware absolutely happens, I was not bothered by it but what did bother me is he didn’t acknowledge it at any point. Second bartender was really attentive, personable, and kind. I unfortunately did not catch either name. Tuna taco was tasty, I liked the tempura seaweed shell. Burger was good, although too salty. Unlikely that I’d go back.
Supposed to be The steak restaurant in Honolulu. Good, but not great
Service and vibe are great but verrrry pricey. Happy hour is much more reasonable pricing. Get the guava margarita !
What a rip off. New Years dinner here was really a terrible sham. 3 courses of mediocre food and then a fight at the bar that spilled into the front of the restaurant. I don’t need to waste $180 per person for such a crappy fixed price meal. Never going back. Really disappointed
I have now tried other steak houses like Signature. Different, ie higher class, than Stripsteak
