Very limited menu and food quality is horrible. For the price of $32 per person you would expect much better meats and bigger selection of small dishes. The order process via the QR code is very clunky. Self serve sauce and small dishes stations are the worst experience ever.
We have been to Son of a Butcher in Seattle. This was a bit more casual for sure. As a group of 14 we really did not like it that much. The meat, specifically the Kalbi and the brisket were quite tough. The marinated chicken and the bulgogi were good. Prices were reasonable and it seemed like more of a local place then a tourist spot, Photos of it online are nothing like we experienced.
This place needs a definite change in quality. The bulgogi, marinated meats are being marinated too long, and probably not being stored correctly. All side dishes taste strange. The self serve sauce and salad is iffy. A place thats supposed to be Korean had no Korean people working or eating in it. Took a quick look into the kitchen and it looked chaotic. Place should be checked by DOH for violations. Quality and cleanliness needs to be better. The only good thing, staff was good.

It’s been awhile since I last visited Sura. The side bar was a new addition. They have different options as far as sides, edamame, pickled onion, kimchi. Different sauces to choose from, the go to salt, pepper & oil combination. The kimchi was on the sour side. It gets pretty crowded & it’s more on the unsanitary side since everyone is using the same food utensils, sticking their hands in the same tub etc. To add on, you can hardly see what you’re grabbing or whether or not it looks good because the lighting is so dim. That’s the main reason for the 3 stars. I enjoyed the experience better before the side bar was a thing.
Our waiter didn’t provide us with plates or chopsticks until after we finished cooking the first round of foods. We were patient about it, since it was busy.
Food came out in a timely manner. Thinly sliced pork belly, the beef brisket and garlic shrimp bibimbap is always a winner. It’s best to make a reservation online prior to heading down there…otherwise you’re looking at 1-1.5 hour wait.

Service is good , servers are attentive and we don't have to ask them to change the grill and they did it automatically. One of the lady came to our table to help us cut the meat and put the food on our plate that's I was not expected to. The only think is we made service at 5 pm , however they don't open their door until 5:10 . So we waited outside the restaurant for a while !
Amazing time, very cheap but more delicious food then you can handle!
Servers were friendly and accommodating, honestly above and beyond.

This place used to be so amazing. The new changes they’ve made have made the experience not nearly as good as before with a new self serve salad bar and sides and a changed menu. The seasonings are not as good as before and the house salad dressing no longer exists, our server said the shoyu is now the house salad dressing? The changes are just overall not good and I hope they can improve and go back to a better overall experience

Food was really good..our initial server was okay maybe she was overwelemed but she definitely over charged us on drinks and nevee brought out the drinknww actually ordered. Everything else was okay oncw ahe went on break and another water helped us. Again food was good second server was way better and attentive.

Very young crowd, so was quite noisy. Seats were so close together that every time someone wanted to get out or in of their seat near me, they asked me to scoot my chair in. Lights were flashing like at a disco when a certain song played. Just not my kind of scene. But the food was great! Love their sauces.
We got there at 9:55pm. Reservation was at 10pm. They didn't sit us until 10:17pm. They also seated the walk-ins before us (3 parties) after 10pm. We had to remind the people in the front 2 times that we had a reservation. First order took 30 minutes to come out. We only were able to get 2 orders within our 90 minute allotted time. When I came before, we got about 4 orders in. Brisket was very fatty, regular pork belly was ok, and other meats (bulgogi, beef, and spicy thin poke belly) we tried were not good. They also ran out of the thin sliced pork belly. The fatty brisket and regular pork belly was the best thing we got. The waiter was also not attentive with our table and we had to flag him down to fill up our waters twice. As soon as 11:17pm hit, the waiter turned off our grill despite us being seated late and only getting 2 orders in. Sura used to be good but we will NEVER be coming back again. NOT WORTH THE $80 TOTAL FOR 2 PEOPLE (20% tip included). We used to come here to escape Gen but to be honest, the service we received at Gen was way better than this occasion at Sura. Super disappointing and not recommended.
