I was craving sushi and came across this wonderful place. I ordered the California maki with miso soup, and let me tell you, it was perfect!! My favorite part of the cali roll is always the crab and this rolls was packed with it! If you like the filling of sushi this is the place for you. The miso soup is also very flavorful. The lady who helped me pay and gave me my food was also super nice, very very kind. This is my new go to spot!

Nice neighborhood sushi place. The sushi is good, but many of the other items are too salty. The Miso soup and the potato salad contain so much salt, I can't even eat them.
I was planning to tell them in person, but the staff is never around. They only come out to take orders. Too bad, because the place is quite and bright and some of the food seems to be fresh.

The deluxe nigiri bento is the best in the island. The quality of the seafood is very fresh and the rice is high quality. For under $20, you get over 10 pcs of nigiri and you can tell the owner takes pride in presentation.

this is the laziest sushi place to go. let alone the quality of fish is mid its not even that great but its good enough to enjoy. i ordered on uber eats like 4 times the same chicken and beef bento but because i mention im allergic to shrimp and to remove the shrimp from the bento they cancel my order every time. its such a nuisance to deal with because i wont be notified that they wont make it and instead ill get the 2 piece nigiri delievered to me with no bento. that is just insane. and to the owner i tried to call so i could tell you directly how i felt about this unprofessional way of handling things but your employee stated your never there so heres the review for the world to see. i have done this same order when i walked in to the place many times chicken beef bento no shrimp never had a problem in my life but for some reason when i do that on uber you handle the problem as if its foreign to a food business. its workers that cant handle substitions that make loyal customers just go to other places. if anyone reading this wants my reccomendations go to aloha sushi genki or any other sushi place in town they are up to date in 2024 and know how to handle substitutions with no excuses or BULLSHIT!

Not staffed well. People come in and stand for several minutes without their order being taken. Witnessed it a couple times while waiting for my food. Food is excellent and well done, but don't be surprised if it's a bit slow and/or not responsive to your arrival.

Place sucks. I use to love the dynamite maki until they got lazy and wasn’t making fresh shrimp tempura for it. Also the fish taste funny now, not fresh at all. Who wants to eat saggy tempura/ bread pudding with old fish? I’ll pass. Thanks for the refund but next time don’t mouth off and walk away just because your costumer is unsatisfied.
