This is a very special place. We have 15 dishes, each was delicious. We sat at the counter and it was amazing to watch the sushi chef prepare each dish with such precision and close attention. The meal was comparable to some of the best meals we have had in Japan. I give Sushi You mu highest recommendation.

Great service. Our go to omakase. The food is amazing and the service is phenomenal. Been there 4 times now.
They usually close for lunch and only offer takeout, but the chef welcomed us in. The miso soup was surprisingly the highlight of the meal. The omakase was good, featuring fresh, well-crafted sushi. The storefront is a bit misleading, but I would definitely recommend it.

Super high quality sushi in a very unassuming location. Great friendly staff. Omakase was amazing - super variety of fish and types of preparation. Ordered a couple salmon rolls for my kid which were super fresh. Omakase was so good that my kid ate half of mine.

Absolutely fantastic. First, the owners. Lovely husband and wife. Nicest people you will ever meet. His skills with her warm service is the perfect pairing. The food, excellent. Been to different omakase around Honolulu. For it's $110 price seems very reasonable compared to less food for $120. Plus, you can bring your own alcohol, which makes it much cheaper. I have spent $500+ for 2 because of alcohol alone (my fault). Sure, $110 per person may seem expensive, but this day and age, it's not that outrageous. If anything, go for a special occasion. I've been there 3 times and even ordered their Sushi Omakase. They do not disappoint.

This was our first experience with Omakase and it was exactly what we had imagined it to be, if not more. We love sushi, however we are not familiar with Japanese culture or customs. Nonetheless we were greeted with warmth, hospitality, and were immediately made to feel at home. We undoubtedly will return soon.
