I started going there in May 2023 and the whole experience was exceptional, then little by the little the customer service and quality of the food has gone down. I love supporting local places, and my fellow latinos but today the lady taking my order was very short and not friendly like she hated her job and one of my tacos had so much grease that I couldn't eat it all because it made my stomach hurt. The rice also had no flavor. This was my last time I will go there.

Finally was able to make it here during our Oahu vacation, they open early and close at 3 and we kept forgetting that lol Ordered steak street tacos and a steak quesadilla. The steak is flavorful, and isn't chewy. Green salsa is great and they have different hot sauces The quesadillas is a good size and has all the fixings Definitely worth the stop, we will be returning to try their breakfast burritos

I'd love to leave this place 0 stars. I saw it had decent reviews so I placed Uber eats order. I ordered a simple chicken burrito with no cheese or sour cream and a side of guacamole. $22 later I get my delivery and I open up the little bag and I'm faced with a guacamole packet premade that you get from Costco a homemade salsa and a burrito that fell apart. I'm pissed off I paid extra 3.50 for a guacamole side that was from Costco. Nonetheless the burrito tasted so horrible I took 2 bites and threw it in the trash. Never again will I go to this place and I don't recommend it. The burrito didn't even taste fresh. Super disappointed.

I stopped here to pick up some lunch. They are located on the corner of Hotel and Bishop street in the old Aloha Salads location. I had been craving a taco salad and ordered the Mexican salad with pork. It came with sides of a lime, a side of guacamole, a white cream sauce, some chips, and some hot sauce. There are a few chairs on the side for you to sit on while waiting. My order came out shortly afterwards and I was told about the array of different sauces on the counter that you could add to your meal. My heat tolerance is high so I should've added some hotter sauce than I did. Now I know. My salad was delicious, the pork was tender, and the portion was large. I had been fasting up until lunch, so this was perfect. I'd definitely come back again.

I grew up in Cali 45 min from the border so my bar for Mexican food is very high plus I'm Mexican myself. This is the only place I can go when I'm feeling homesick and need authentic Mexican food. The service is always amazing and the owner Danny works on the line happy to answer any questions or make recommendations. My favorite place on the island.

I asked them the contents of a breakfast burrito and was told beans, meat, eggs and cheese. As a vegetarian, I asked them if they had a veggie option which they did. I asked them the contents of the veggie breakfast burrito and they mentioned its just beans, rice, and eggs. That sounded incredible so I ordered the veggie breakfast burrito but asked them to add potato to it. My understanding was that the contents of the burrito would be: rice, beans, eggs, potatoes. When I received my order, I got the above contents as well as lettuce, pico de Gallo, and salsa. I was not informed of these extra ingredients. It was agreed upon during the time of order what the contents would be. I gave them a call back and was told "next time say no salsa". How was I supposed to know you were going to put salsa if I was not informed? The burrito was inedible to me with the extra ingredients. I was heavily disappointed with the customer service. When I asked specifically what's in a burrito, I expect to be informed of all contents. What if I was allergic to cilantro?? The burrito was also wrapped in a mediocre manner and the salsa was just oozing out when I got it. Overall a negative experience and the phone call essentially telling me I should have known what they were going to put in the burrito as a first time visitor was a slap in the face.

Thank goodness I've finally found a real Carne Asada Burrito! I'm from Tucson/San Diego/Albuquerque so I am an expert! Perfect no beans or rice. They did want to put sour cream and lettuce but I held off. Served with lime and one salsa, I asked for more but it didn't even need it. Delicious ???

Replacing Aloha Salad's location in town, Taco Kabana is one of my go-to spots for lunch. Their authentic Mexican food is greatly appreciated by me and my colleagues, my favorite is their Veggie Quesadilla, which is made fresh to order. The staff is always so polite and hardworking, the wait times can get a little bit long during lunch time, so plan accordingly. You do have the option to phone order which is great to cut down your wait time. They do keep the doors open so it may get a little bit warm if you're planning to dine in, something to keep in mind, especially during long wait times when the small restaurant is filled with people. If you're in the mood for authentic Mexican food, stop by this location and maybe you'll love them too!

A great spot, worth the wait. It can be hit or miss. Go when it's busy. I enjoy the carne asada street tacos

Stopped in about 1:30 on Monday afternoon and wasn't crowded. Service was quick and polite. Did not disappoint; will definitely be a regular lunchtime spot.

We got the food via Ubereats. The tacos were on the smaller side but the flavor was delicious! Also ordered a taco salad which was excellent!
