Overall, pleasant experience. Definitely a solid 4 stars. It’s right in front of a Don Quijote so super busy! They have food plates prepped and on display so you can pay and snatch up what you ordered. They also have takoyaki in the menu that they cook to order. I’m not a huge fan of eating hot food at different temps but I understand the efficiency behind it. Would have given 5 stars if my food were all the same temperature.
Very hard to find parking, even in the morning in the middle of the week. Didn’t go in the Don Quijote but it looks easy bigger than the one in pearl city. Not worth the drive, traffic, and people tho. Lol.
Cold food, wasn’t good. You get old food that I wouldn’t recommend finishing.

I ordered 5 pieces of takoyaki, they were not really stuffed. They all flatten after a minute and breaks really easily when picking up with the chopsticks. Taste is okay, just like any other ones, nothing surprising.

Ordered takeout here. 20 minutes later, I went to pick up my order and they told me to wait 2 more minutes, I came back later and they told me to wait 15 mins more. Clearly they just forgot about my order and didn’t show any sign of apology

When I ordered takoyaki, the Japanese woman made the takoyaki while chatting away on her cell phone, touching and sprinkling bonito flakes on it with her hands. The taste of the takoyaki was delicious, but I was concerned about hygiene and the service was poor.

You can see the demonstration of takoyaki, and the enticing smell invites you in. We had a set of takoyaki and okonomiyaki. Although the takoyaki wasn't freshly made, so even after reheating, the inside felt dry. Japanese takoyaki typically includes grated yam, making it soft and delicious. I wished they had used similar techniques. 05/10/2024 Today, we tried the Hiroshimayaki we had been curious about. It was pretty good.?

The takoyaki ball's, were ok, but we feel like they had way too much batter on them and not enough filling. We have been spoiled. There's a food truck out by the north shore. The lady is authentic. She makes them order their hot and has a small coat of batter and lots of filling. We have been looking all around the island for them. But I have been disappointed every time. She has the best ball hand's down. There's another place in Kapolei that's decent to get these from. But the food truck has the best so far. I hope this helps you out and have a great day

Tried to order 12 piece of takoyaki, the Japanese lady on her 50s told me it will take 15 min. Asked how long for 10piece and the lady said will have it ready soon. After receiving my ordered noticed that there was only 9 pieces. Returned to the cashier to report 1 piece was missing as she responded as “ok 15 min”Without apologies she told me to wait for 15 min for 1 piece. Asked for replacement because the other 9 piece will get cold. The lady said no and wait 15 min.What a joke. It was pretty obvious that She was trying to fraud us by giving 9pieces. I have asked for refund which was processed. Now you have 9 takoyaki wasted. Also Thank you for wasting our time. I knew takoyaki Yamachan since shirokiya alamoana. so sad this place has fallen down this low. They usually give or throw out foods that’s left over at the end. Can’t even take an order and fix the problem. Asked for the refund because i wanted my tip back too. Never recommend this place anymore
