This time I only ate saimin, but it was very delicious as it is a Japanese dashi style ramen.
The staff were all very nice people and the atmosphere was good.

Great chop steak, and my wife's fried min was fabulous. Had soup and sandwich. Hadn't been here for a while. Was in the area and de died to eat here because it's one of my favorite places. Cathy took real good care of us. It's always a pleasure. This time, we went for breakfast, and we had the Tanaka's special. It's 3 egg omlete with bacon, tomato, onions, mushrooms, and spinach. I highly recommend it.
Cathy is really on the ball! We also took home a shrimp tempura plate.

Food is not sophisticated but service is good and friendly. Love the saimin here. Expect to wait a little on weekends.
Kid-friendliness: They have high chair and a small selection of keiki menu.

For a really good bowl of saimin, this is the place! We ordered saimin (add veggies) and the Hawaiian plate (Friday plate of the day). Compliments to the chef, both were outstanding! The service was quick and efficient and the seating (diner style) was comfortable.

A very traditional eatery in an industrial area. We went for the siamin soup and noodles and were not disappointed. The service was awesome and we were welcomed as locals.

Visited the store for the first time in a while. We had a great time as usual. Today's parent and child saimin has a gentle taste. The lilikoi chiffon cake for dessert was also delicious.
Please continue to be a place of relaxation.

Ate here for lunch with my elderly parents.
Menu options were good and something for everyone.
In our group we had a small saimin, a small won ton min, a Korea moco, and a crispy shoyu chicken. Every thing was great and food came out faster than expected. Even our waitress commented that the kitchen was fast today.
The place was a bit crowded but the wait wasn’t too bad.
Nice place to have a local meal served by a local staff.

The service was amazing and the portions were great for the price! I didn’t love the soup itself, I was expecting something more similar to ramen. My husband has the oxtail special and was IN LOVE!!

My cousin recommended this place 10 years ago. I finally made it. I ordered the the Friday special Hawaiian plate. Decent portions about $20 laulau, kalua pig, chicken long rice, poi or rice, raw onion and haupia. Bland taste.Fast and friendly service. A large menu of local favorites. I would have to say the best family restaurant on Oahu. Go check them out.

I make it a mission to eat here every time I’m back home. This place takes me back to the glory days of Dillingham Saimin, which sadly bit the dust a couple years back. It’s now my go-to spot for local saimin, with portions big enough to make any appetite happy. The menu is a nostalgic replica of Dillingham Saimin’s, so I always know what I’m getting—a saimin with a Teri beef stick. It’s the same order I’ve been having since I was a kid! My all-time favorite has always been the kimchee saimin, while my dad swears by the moyashi saimin with won ton. We’ve got our favorites, and this place never disappoints.
The atmosphere has that old-school, local vibe, and the service is always friendly. Plus, the food arrives so quickly that I never have to wait long to dig in!

Food was terrible, service was terrible and the atmosphere was old and lame
Vegetarian options: The tempura veggies were decent but they needed salt. Easy fix added salt myself
