Tanja’s Tacos

My husband and I go every weekend but could easily eat it every day. It is street food at its best- comforting, affordable and most importantly delicious. Late night vegan spots are hard to find and this place is a gem. Best vegan spot on the island honestly.

Literally a diamond in the rough. Great food! Great service! From someone who eats LA food on a regular basis this easily keeps up with SoCal. There's a bright future in store for this business. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ??

Parking: It's basically free, technically are supposed to pay but it's so late and you are right next to the lot that you don't need to pay

One of the few late-night vegan options available in town, especially great if you’re out late or staying in Waikiki. Conveniently down the street from bars/clubs. Prices range from $5-$16 but are worth it in my opinion! Good quality & fresh ingredients. Menu rec: the Crunchywrap ($14) — grilled 12" flour tortilla, house beans, Tanja's taco meat, choice of rice: red (tomato pepper) or green (cilantro lime), tortilla chips, lettuce, onion, cilantro, signature sauce, lime. Amazing crunchywrap. Was hesitant at first because I saw it was plant based, but it exceeded my expectations. Will be back!

It's not real meat. They only sell vegan meat. If you are Latino it is better that you do not go here

Almost didn’t get these tacos once I found out they were plant based but it was late and decided to try them anyways. Omg these tacos were so delicious! They do cost a little more than regular tacos, $5 each taco but so worth it! Their signature sauce has really good flavor ESPECIALLY with the lime squeezed on the taco!! You do have to pay for parking nearby if you decide to drive here. Definitely want to go back to try their burrito!!! I’m honestly craving their tacos now at 6pm but they’re only open 10pm-4am ???. I will probably stay up late to get it again tonight ???

I ordered the crunch wrap. The cook / cashier was very chill and friendly. Food was out within ten minutes. It wasn’t busy (10p) but I can picture it getting very busy in another hour.

absolutely loaded with flavor!I got the crunchy wrap as you can see in the picture with guac and spicy.10/10 an absolute banger!I am planning to get another taste if this plant based food at least one more time before leaving this island!dont be fooled by my bad photography,this food is 100% worth checking outas of 2/23/24 you can get away with spending $15 per person for a food and drink combo and be satisfied for a night of touring the shops in the area and get a break from the crowds in the current secluded locationI stumbled upon this gem on accident I dont know how to give directions to the location other than google.
