Had the Dinner Plate, ONO BRAH!

Service is such an important part to a dining experience. That being said the workers here are so aunty like. They do such a great job making sure that everything is great from start to finish. The food is reminiscent of a taste that is slowly disappearing in Hawaii. Soon it will be hard to find old school chop suey spots.

Good Chinese food at fair prices. This place is a landmark in Kalihi, and hopefully will remain in business in spite the tough times for small business owners.

I haven't been here in YEARSSS and in all honesty it's because it looks like it's closed LOL but even when I knew it was open I just never bothered because a very long long time ago when I was young, there was a another Chinese restaurant that my family would always eat at and they were so good and I remember they'd deliver too! Eventually, I think the owner closed down shop because he was over the COL in Hawai'i and I can't blame him. He saw it coming. Anyways, this place was a mutual spot where me and my family were meeting and man was it worth it. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. I was a little annoyed at how the staff were king of rushing us out, about 15 minutes before closing but I understand, everyone wants to go home after a hard day of work. Other than the staff trying to rush us out so they could clean and be done, I would absolutely eat here again, by myself, with my family or friends. The parking can suck but overall the food is delicious. You can call and ask to reserve a space as well. My cousin paid the bill because it was his treat so I'm not too sure about the prices but I will update the next time I'm "in town."

Get your fill of Tasty before they close next June. One of the few places that still serves steamed duck noodle. Also, excellent cake noodle Sum See and beef bittermelon on rice.

Hubby, daughter and myself came here for lunch. We came hungry. There's parking to the back side of the restaurant. As you enter, the nice lady tells us to sit anywhere. We sat at a booth. The lady served us iced waters and hot tea in an old school kettle. I decided to get the lemon tea in a bottle. It was huge. For lunch, I got the lunch special which included spare ribs, chow mein with veggies, rice, and two won tons and a shrimp deep battered in a breaded deep fry. Everything was okay tasting. I got fried rice instead of white rice. This was good. The chow mein was okay. Not too salty. I didn't care for the spare ribs or meat. Kind of tough. The hot tea was oolong and good. You see the tea leaves in the tea. Service was good as our waitress checked up on us once. There's restrooms in the back. Descent and clean but small. Food was just okay. Right off the corner in a residential area.

Almost 5 stars rating?! Don't know what everyone is thinking. First of all, it's way expensive for this kind of place. 3 normal god awful dishes was $45!! Google menu prices are way off! Should be like $$$ and the food was barely edible. Had lemon chicken, so dry I had to eat it in the rain. Mongolian beef was so chewy I could've blown a bubble with it. Fried rice was ok. If you dare to venture here, ask and check the prices for each dish. Never again.

Got takeout lunch specials (entree on rice). As the name implies, the food was tasty and delicious. Good portions and good price.

I had low expectations, because the location and building are nothing to see. However, we were warmly welcomed, and helped with our questions. Oh my! The chop suey really IS tasty! So fresh and delicious!

Food always tastes good here! Waitresses are always so friendly and kind! Steam bun, char sis, salt and pepper pork chop are always my go-to.
