Perched above a hotel in a quiet area a short drive or manageable walk south of the hustle-and-bustle of the main drag of Waikiki, this was a fabulous meal with generous portions, wonderful local ingredients, and inventive takes on Hawai'ian and pan-Pacific favorites. An excellent cocktail program and well-curated wine list, topped off with friendly service will have you feeling at ease. I honestly feel this is a can't miss in Honolulu—no matter where you may be coming from on O'ahu.

We ordered the Ohana menu and were surprised by the amount of food included for the price. At $80 a head plus $30 with the wine pairing, this was a great value. The food itself was fine...nothing on the menu really stood out with respect to the taste and flavors but we enjoyed the ambiance and service was great.

This is our favorite restaurant in Honolulu, hands down. The food is fresh and perfectly prepared (ahi and hamachi sashimi, with a tangy slightly sweet tropical sauce, are fabulous). The barkeep is creative so there are interesting cocktails in addition to classic recipes. The ambiance is quiet and classy but never stuffy, beautiful decor, but the staff makes the evening really special. From the welcome at reception to the servers and the General Manager/sommier, all are friendly, efficient, and make this a place to return to again and again.

Our reservation at Arden at Waikiki went smoothly from beginning to end. Started with the great greeting from the front staff. Our server (Jayden) was funny with a great sense of humor. Everything we ordered came out great. From oxtail, lobster, ahi, ribeye. Sides of corn and mushroom rice was perfect and a great side with all the entrees ordered. Delicious desserts of chocolate and whiskey. Would highly recommend and comeback.

Food was fantastic. Innovative, good flavors, adequate portion sizes. Definitely a Waikiki hidden gem.

A smallish facility in a mid-priced hotel in the shadow of diamond head. The food was quite good and reasonably priced. The night we were there, a large group was celebrating and the noise level was pretty high. I think there was one waiter with two assistants. Service was not slow as they made a great teqm.

We booked the private room for our grandson's first birthday, food and services were incredible. Couldn't ask for a better time!

The food and service were outstanding. Everything was impeccable. The sommelier was amazing and gave us great service with amazing wines. The food was delicious. Unfortunately the dining room faces the street instead of the beautiful beach and the lovely sunset, but that is the architect's mistake, not the super people working the restaurant. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Great place for a special occasion treat.

I had an incredible dining experience at Arden. The chef did a phenomenal job combining a variety of farm-to-table flavors, each dish showcasing great depth and balance of umami and texture. The venison, smoked tuna poke, fish curry, tomato salad, and steak were all superb — beautifully prepared and bursting with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The service was equally excellent. Our server was knowledgeable and spot-on with his recommendations, enhancing an already exceptional meal. The cocktails were also outstanding, perfectly complementing the dishes. Overall, an amazing dinner from start to finish — creative, delicious, and memorable. Highly recommend Arden for anyone looking for a refined yet inviting culinary experience.

This was our third visit to Arden Waikiki. We had a table this time, with a beautiful view of Kapiolani Park. The espresso martini and smokey old fashioned were well crafted and delicious. We tried the buttered corn, which is Arden's version of elote, and it was the highlight of the meal. Such buttery deliciousness! We also tried the mushroom rice and the duck breast special. It was a fabulous meal. Arden is an amazing pau hana location, or for any occasion. The service, food, and ambiance are why we keep coming back!

I've loved every visit to Arden and my most recent visit did not disappoint! I went with a friend and we ordered every special - cocktail, appetizer and entree - which mean an amazing Southeast Asian inspired martini, pate with umeshu jelly and Hawaiian style duck l'orange. Oh and brussels sprouts. Delicious! Can't wait for my next visit.
