what i like the best about teddys is the ability to pretty much customize your burgers any way you want. and if you get the mobile app it makes it even easier! today i decided to get the single burger with the aiea toppings (bacon, mushroom, cheese) but do it in a lettuce wrap, that way i could save my carbs for eating all the fries. i got the umami fries with bacon bits on top. my coworkers didnt even know you could mod the fries, so im pretty sure next time they go theyre going to add ALL the things on top i always forget how messy these burgers are because theyre juicy and stuffed with things like sauce and tomatoes that make a mess. luckily they know, so they always give you wet naps and a TON of napkins. as soon as i picked up my burger a whole ton of burger juice came gushing out the other side. good thing the sauce was on the side or im sure that would have added to the mess. umami fries were pretty good. couldnt taste the furikake. they were slightly spicy from the sriracha, and i didnt even know until halfway through that there was garlic bits in there too. tons of bacon on top, which made it hard to eat without a fork, but i was too lazy to get up and ask for one. and i figured since my hands were already going to be messy from the burger, might as well just eat the saucy fries with my hands too if you order when you get there be prepared to wait a bit since everything is made fresh to order. so would def help to get the mobile app and order ahead if you dont want to wait this location also has daves ice cream if youre looking for some dessert afterwards. i was too full for dessert, didnt even finish all my fries!

Came to visit here on my trip to Honolulu. After going to the zoo we came here. First impressions -- felt like we were ordering from The Habit. After seeing the burger I was impressed by the size and noticed seasoning on top of the Patty as well. They messed up my order because i ordered mine with no cheese because I dont like the taste of cheese. After taking the first bite I was blown away by the taste. Very well seasoned, perfectly pink in the middle, sauce was amazing and made me like cheese on my burger. For sure we will come back here. Also the Fruit Punch Fanta was amazing!! Best burger I have ever had

Bigger Burger? Not so much.. I ordered the beyond Burger since I had decided that I would have to try one someday, so today it is... well my burger came out.... the bun was cold and the "burger" was just above warm.And looked nothing like advertized!! As you can see it barley clears 1.75 inches total. It is on par with the stuff you see at crapburger places like McD's. As for tasting like their beef burger.. hard to tell the flavor was drowed out by onions and mustard sauce. They could not blame it on being a lunch rush.. it was right about 12:30p on a monday. Maybe 8 people in store.Very disappointed.

I went to one of the first Teddy's on Oahu years ago. That was my only visit to any Teddy's until the last two years, when I went to Teddy's in Lahaina in January 2021 and 2022. That's a good spot. I thought all locations had the same menu. Wrong! A very different menu from Lahaina. I got delivery through Door Dash (I ate in-restaurant previously), and I don't think my three selections traveled well. I think that was part of the problem, but it's not the entire reason for three stars. Some of the burgers are named after cities on Oahu. First up was the Aiea. I requested medium, but the burger patty trended toward medium well, I think because of the travel time. The patty was not dry, but it certainly wasn't juicy. Also, it seemed to lack seasoning. My impression was a reliance on toppings and sauce to provide flavor. Next was the grilled chicken. I selected the teri preparation. Overall it was quite disappointing. Like the burger patty, the meat had no detectable seasoning, and was not totally dry, but was not moist. Also, the meat had not been marinated in teri sauce. Rather, the sauce was dumped on top. It was also very sweet, which suggests an abundance of sugar. It didn't really taste like teri, and I didn't care for it, so I didn't even finish it. My last "stop" was on the windward side, with the Kailua. It is similar to the Aiea, but sans the bacon and carmelized onions along with raw onions. (Interesting choice to use both types of onions.) The liquid from the caramelized onions did add nice dimensions of flavor and texture. I enjoyed this one the best of the three. I asked for no buns or any kind of starch, and they read my requests and followed them, which I appreciate. They also put the sauce on the side, which was great. I took a small taste and I think it was a honey mustard. If so, it may have had more carbs than I choose to eat, so it was good to be able to skip it.

The food is ok, the price is expensive for what is, staff is ok ( i really didn’t understand what the cashier was saying and the other one didn’t know how to take my order on the tablet)Its visible that its a failed “Five Guys” copy, the colors change a little, but everything on the store is really similar but worse!The combos is exactly the same price than separated items!They give you a choice to change the fries for onion rings, but didn’t tell that there is an add price for this (its $1,60+)For indoor seating you must show you vax card!

Teddy's just have a special place in my heart and I'm ashamed that I haven't done a review here yet, it's the one place me and my previous work besties celebrated Christmas together as some of us don't have immediate family near us but loved coming here and enjoyed a beautiful meal and exchange gifts. It's some of the very few places that opened it's doors during this holiday pre pandemic days and yes sadly we haven't done it since and was hoping to do so in 2021 but because a friend has a very sensitive immune system that it's just not worth the risk. When you're craving a burger and the rarity of having the load of parking just steps from the front door it makes total sense to peek in and see what's up...yeah!! Though I was planning for a takeout it's nice to see they opened their dining room which makes me wish my besties are here as well for our usual holiday feast...sigh. My burger it was Kilauea Fire (Bacon, cheddar, onion rings, and Kilauea Fire BBQ sauce) single done medium yum!! Cooked perfectly and checked all my cravings chart in a single whack. To be honest my only sad panda moment was the bacon, kinda felt it was already precooked and was actually cold consisting was only one of very few toppings wished they put more though into it. Great inviting place with the friendliest staff, so grateful for the memories we had and will continue to create. Thank you!!
