Teishoku was an amazing first-time experience for us! The service was awesome and the food was truly extraordinary! We ordered the combination plates with ahi sashimi, Tempura veggies & shrimp, grilled Saba (mackerel) and Beef Kalbi and were not disappointed. Highly recommended for locals and visitors to Hawaii. I rarely eat around this part of Oahu. Since we had an errand to run near Kalihi I searched up Japanese restaurant and found this gem. What a great place — serving lots of Japanese alcohols and wide variety of teishoku choices. (Combinations are awesome) The prices are so reasonable and the service is fast and friendly. I can see why this place has a following. We’ll be back!

Good food, very hospitable and even when we came towards last call they accommodated really well and very patient with good manners. Very considerate and communicative. My go-to bento spot! Hidden gem and you’re missing out if you haven’t had it yet!!
