A big let down!!! Ended up here because Dickey’s BBQ shut down here in Hawaii. I was so bummed. But I will not return to Tex 808 🙅🏽‍♀️. Staff was very friendly, food was blah.

Food is OK for BBQ but the prices are insane for a cafeteria setting. It was over $60 for two sandwiches & two “brews” (with suggested tip) You’ve changed TEX 808. Bye.

Was picking up an order for my husband who couldn't get off the ship. My husband is having some technical issues with providing a verification screenshot with his name on the order he placed in Uber Eats. I get that there are some issues with instances of stealing orders that need verification. This big white guy with a beard, one of the crew by the cashier, didn’t get his name as he was yelling at me and making gestures of sort of accusations of being a fraud customer for picking up an order that my husband put in AND I provided a screenshot of my husband’s name with their restaurant name telling his order is ready. Now, I don’t do much of reviews but damn this man should know how to handle things like this without making a scene. At least give some ground compassion and respect to your customers since you are in the field of providing customer services as well. I even politely approach you, SIR, all else while you are doubting my inquiries. You got a bad day? Don’t try to spread it out to other people knowing you are in the business of food and customer services. HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND. NEVER GOING NOR BUYING TO THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN. Even if the food MIGHT TASTE great. And even I’m a small business supporter. Customer service still gives a bit of a pointer on how you do business. -0 /-star if only there is an option. If you are the owner of this restaurant, start making better choices man on how to deal with customer service. Everything can be done gently and professionally, no need to yell out in the restaurant. Bad rap for you.

I had my wife pick up my order, but the customer service was terrible. The cashier was unhelpful and showed no concern for customer service. Admittedly, my wife couldn’t show my name with the order, so I sent her multiple screenshots of my UberEats app with my name and order details. Even then, the crew was difficult to work with and seemed indifferent. We eventually got our order, but I’m disappointed with the customer service. This could have been handled differently. I won’t be returning to this establishment.

Ordered ribs, brisket, corn, and Mac. The brisket, sauce, and corn was good. I wasn't a huge fan of the ribs and macaroni. Customer service was 5/5.

Customer service was better than expected. One gentleman gave us the run down on the selections and how long everything was smoked for. The food was awful though. I had the brisket and it was the driest piece of meat I’ve ever had. It made me sad. The Mac and cheese had the texture of glue and was hard to swallow. Definitely not southern barbecue. My Mexican friend said the tacos were okay so if you go, get the tacos. Definitely not worth $20 for a plate.

Not Texas BBQ. Turkey is decent, however the brisket was very bland and lacking that smokey flavor. Very pricey too. If you want an expensive pot roast....this is the place to go.

Had bought a 2lbs of brisket the prep guy prepared the brisket plate no presentation cut on the brisket didn't seem to have been from a slab but used so scrap cuts and mixed with fatty cuts brisket had no flavor meat was dry must of been a bad day paid $71 plus dollars very disappointed prep guy needs to take some pride in his work and have nice uniform cuts from a slab for 2lbs at that price.

The food was delicious, with tip it was a little expensive for me but it's on par for the area and for smoked BBQ beef. Customer service was outstanding they were so kind I didn't believe they were for real at first but they were genuinely kind. Even the tea was great!! Definitely worth going there again and if you haven't been there yet they are definitely worth a try!!!

This place is BOMB. My husband and I are basically addicted to it ATP. The brisket is omggg Listen I dont like fat. I've always cut it off and thrown it away (the texture gives me the ick) but when I tell u that brisket fat doesn't even taste like fat. It's sooo tender I can barely tell that I'm eating fat when I'm chewing and don't get me started on the Mac and cheese. GET THE MAC AND CHEESE! I don't have a picture to post cuz that's how good it is sorry lol
