This place is great! Their brisket it mouth watering and the banana pudding is amazing! My husband and I have never had a bad experience here.

Brisket was good, but the potato salad didn’t have much flavor and the corn on the cob was dry and tough. Could have been an off day, so we may try again before making up our minds. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

The street tacos tasted fine, but they used flour tortillas instead of corn which was really odd. I would have ordered something else had I known the shells would be wrong.

Walked in just expecting another side of the road bbq place but immediately as I walked in the hospitality and service was outstanding, so kind and welcoming. I also love testing the side of Mac n cheese whenever I get a chance. I find most places are bland and unoriginal... But here? Blew me away. So creamy and so tasty! The garlic butter chicken wings?? PERFECT crispy outside dripping in sauce with a fresh hot middle. Sad I was only here for a layover. You'll live in my heart forever.

I visited this place. The service was great. I mean the manager couldn’t do so much but the food was not edible. I got brisket and that’s not what I got. That’s what I ordered but it’s not what I got. I got shredded beef not brisket. I have had brisket in Hawaii before that taste like Texas food, but it wasn’t from this place and the manager was super nice but all he could tell me was it’s a certain cut of the meat. The certain cut of the meat means I didn’t get brisket. I got a different cut of meat. Period now if you want real brisket, the place that I last ate was a winner. Sunset Texas barbecue was a real winner. That’s where I’ll be going back to and no, I don’t work there. I’m just speaking truth. They have real brisket. Melt in your mouth delicious succulent brisket but this place Texas 808 barbecue not it sorry just not it. It’s a misrepresentation of brisket but if you want real brisket, please check out Texas sunset barbecue because my husband and I ate there and it was delicious. I mean real cream, corn real brisket that melts in your mouth. You actually want to go back there I crave the brisket that they serve And that’s just me being real. Seriously, Texas 808. Y’all need to take a lesson from Sunset Texas barbecue because they know how to make brisket. You should take the 808 out of your name. Because it’s a disgrace to Hawaii. The bbq beans were really good though, I have to say that, seeing as that was the only thing I could eat besides the Hawaiian Sweet Roll on the plate. Sorry guys please just fix the brisket

I visited this place for the first time since I was in the area, I gotta say. The manager there is top notch. He made it right with me when I received the wrong item no questions asked. Thank you so much 💯🤙🏽

I've come to this place a couple times and it's a hit or miss. Sometimes the meat is moist and tender. Other times it's dry and needs lots of sauce. Mac and cheese is also a big portion, but hardens quickly. I'd stick with the brisket sandwich.

We always come in and get the texas burrito with Mac and cheese instead of rice and turkey wraps. Some of the best BBQ I've had!

we had an amazing experience this evening!🙌🏻 the staff was so kind & accommodating to our family and even offered our kiddos a dinner roll while we ordered... the food was amazing & it felt like a piece of home to our Texan family♥️ we will definitely be back!

Mediocre but edible. Except for the cole slaw. This place has the absolute worst cole slaw I've ever had anywhere in the United States. No seasoning or dressing. Just raw, dry shredded cabbage and carrots.
