as a person from Texas that visited Hawaii and was very homesick all I was craving was good slow roasted brisket plate with potato salad side of baked was the idea . But to say that this is a Texas barbecue place is outright outrageous the food zero out of 10 of this. This place has no idea what Texas bbq is except the barbecue sauce that was applied to the meat. The potato salad was terrible as was the cook of the brisket the only thing edible was the canned baked beans.

Absolutely incredible Texas style BBQ! The brisket melts in your mouth, all of the sides are good and big portions and the sweet tea hits straight from the south! Highly recommend, some of the best BBQ I've ever had!

When I die, bury me with a tub of 808 Mac & Cheese!!! The best Mac & Cheese ever! I have been here about 8 times over the past year, and they never disappoint. Nicest people, great BBQ, and world-class sides. If you are in Hawaii, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to amazing Texas BBQ

Sorry , it was not what I wanted . The brisket was bland with very little flavor and only a slight smoke taste . Had no bark ring and the fat had no flavor. And fat is flavor. And it was dry. Sausage didn't have a distinct smoke flavor and no color to the casing . . Coleslaw and beans was the best thing on the

Love this place. Mainlanders might scoff at this bbq, but hey out here in the middle of the ocean, omg I love it. Mac n cheese can’t get enough of, other sides are well made and have character. Meats are bomb, brisket has a nice char but could be juicier tho. Love the vibe there, all the staff super friendly, great service, very welcoming. Make sure you take home extra!
The service was amazing. I believe it was the owner who came out and greeted me. The food is pure based! You get A LOT! Perfect place to grab dinner when you heading in from the beach or for the guys and gals on the base for lunch break!

The food was great and the pricing was fair, especially nowadays, finding somewhere to eat without feeling ripped off. Also, we're talking about protein which is usually the most expensive. The brisket and ribs were great (a side of sweet sauce took it to the next level) and also the beans and their style of mac n cheese were good too. What stood out the most, was the service. Outstanding customer service! Great group of attentive, informal, and all around good and kind ladies. I wish we took a picture of our food, but it was all gone:)

This was my favorite place. Management is great. Tonight was different. Female at register rude as soon as I got up to pay. Her attitude like she was irritated in the sound of her responses. Then I kindly asked for 1 of the plates to be separate and she got mad and just threw the plate on the side and with a a$$ attitude she continue to speak.

Turkey with rice and salad. I was surprised the turkey was not dry. So used to turkey smothered in gravy. This was a welcome surprise. It was delivered so I don't know what the restaurant looks like.

It's kind of sad, because I've really liked this place for a long time. But they seem to change their online ordering system every 3 months or so, and the one they currently have (Lunchbox Takeout), seemed to glitch 2 separate times. I ordered a single plate brisket, but for some reason it showed up as ribs and brisket (only got ribs). I tried to add tip, but the session seemed to reset, payment was made, and tip wasn't on there. Which would have been fine, I thought to myself 'I'll just give cash tip when I get there'. But when I went to pick it up, the worker handed me a bag with the most intentionally unorganized stacking ever. 1 plate was literally jammed in vertically on its side, the smallest container on the bottom, and then the third one also tilted over diagonally. Not sure if the workers were salty that I didn't give tip (even though I tried, and the online app failed). I was fine, I repacked it myself in a way that any sane person would (big stuff on bottom, everything flat). Would have still given a small tip, but the whole crew had kind of ran away and huddled in the corner, like they knew they did something immature. If both their ordering system and workers themselves are going to conspire for me to get the wrong order AND not tip them, it's fine, just sad.
