Food: The green curry was good, the eggplant was great, the zucchini a bit undercooked, and the tofu a little different (not spongy) but still good. Definitely met expectations but wasn’t exceptional. Combined the with steamed rice was just enough to share between two of us. Appreciated that there’s a vegan/vegetarian protein option for the main dishes (tofu + vegetables).Price: maybe it’s typical Hawaii prices but seemed quite expensive. $17 for the curry (without rice) and $3.50 for the rice.Service: servers were kind and attentive though a little short staffed.

We ordered the fish and chili sauce and the chicken pad woon sen. Absolutely delicious. I am normally anti-seafood, but I took a bite of my husband’s fish and chili sauce and immediately said “Mmm!!”. That has never happened in my life! They are attentive, have quick and high quality service, and the food comes out piping hot, well seasoned, and generously portioned. Thai Lao is the place to go for authentic Thai in the Honolulu area!

Food had potential, but Nam khao had way too much cilantro and herbs all you could taste. Fried spring rolls were amazing.

Favorite Thai spot. Got the beef fried rice and drunken noodles. Both were flavorful and the medium spice was spicier than other Thai restaurants--it was the perfect spice for me since I like spicy food. Definitely will be back when I visit O'ahu again.

We've always Uber eats here and their orders has always been on point. Dining experience is even better. Restaurant staff is very friendly and catering to customers. This is the standard for Thai restaurant. Not like the others. We'll be back soon! Thank you.

The menu prices were higher than I'd expected, but the portions were huge-- easily two meals. So it was fair. While the pad Thai was slightly bland, I enjoyed the food overall. Service was pleasant and helpful.

Vegetarian options: The waiter helped steer me towards some vegetarian options.

Would get a 5 star if I could. Always wish places had more vegan options but this place has a lot compared to most Thai places, or any restaurant for that matter. Pad Thai, yellow curry, ginger veggie stir fry ??? and the list goes on

Super authentic, very flavorful, one of the best Thai restaurants on Oahu! Reminded us of the amazing street food in Thailand!Waiter was great, very nice and so helpful with our vegan/ plant-based diet food preferences! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful ambiance and the food was authentic and so delicious. James waited on us and he was so nice and very attentive. I was born & raised in Thailand, so when it comes to Thai food, i know I'm talking about! And the prices are well within reason!

Vegetarian options: Offers many vegetarian options.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly

Parking: Parking available in McCully shopping center.

Food is good, but that's not what the rating is for. This is for anyone looking to order takeout. This is the closest Thai restaurant to me, so out of laziness I really wanted to order from here regularly, but I can't.The wait time on any takeout order is ridiculous. I've ordered from here around 7-8 times, and without exception, every time I've been told 20-25 minutes when in actuality it was 45-75 minutes. And, this is not during peak dinner hours on Saturday. It includes time like 3pm on a Tuesday. They simply don't prioritize takeout orders, and there has never been any serious apologize for the absurdity. My last visit, I had to cancel the order because they told me 25 minutes, and then at 45 minutes, told me they were "about to start it".

Lovely meal! The servers were super knowledgeable and made our meals “vegan style” without hesitation!

Came here at 12, the guy had no greeting but said there is no bathroom lol ok table for 2 please and then didn’t greet us or anything. Table was dirty, was there for 5 minutes then left to Fook Yuen. Sucks they have a 60 minute eating period but oh well guess they don’t want business. Plus it was my dads birthday guess they don’t care to even have people celebrate special occasions.

Yo, yo, yo!!! You want authentic Thai Lao food! This is it! I asked for medium spicy for my Papaya Salad and Chicken Larb (Larb Gai) it has my mouth on fireeeeeeee????!!! I'm soooo glad they didn't water the spice down for Western Taste. If you like spicy, this place is authentic like if you went to Thailand or Laos or go to their house for dinner!!!! I highly recommend it, if you love spicy!!!!
