Amazing location and amazing service ON the beach! It's located in a very fancy hotel, so prices are a bit high.

No one took our order. They didn’t even bring us water. We waited 15 minutes and just left. This is the second time this has happened at a restaurant on Waikiki Beach. What is it ,you don’t want to serve Asians because you think we don’t tip? I’ll tip you plenty, just please take our order! We came to Hawaii because we can afford it, I even give our valet guy $20 four times a day! Unbelievable!

Lovely place to have a drink. One of the best places to watch the people on the beach swimming and having fun. and the big catamaran comming in put out. Very busy. My food was not good. at bowl of chips has a cup of garlic butter poured over the top. I couldn't eat them. The chips sat in a pool of fat. Atmosphere is beautiful if a big old hotel on the beach. Luxurious

I stopped by this cool little bar outside by the ocean to grab a drink or two. The setting is definitely the highlight—it’s right on the water with a great view, and the atmosphere fits perfectly with the hotel vibe.

Service, however, was disappointing. I ordered my first drink and enjoyed it, but once I finished, I sat for about 15 minutes without anyone checking on me. Servers were attentive to others around me, including someone right next to me, but no one came back my way. Eventually, I just decided to leave rather than try to flag someone down.

Overall, it’s a great location with a nice ambiance, but the lack of consistent service made it frustrating. If you want a good view and don’t mind rolling the dice on service, it may still be worth a stop.

Great place for a drink with fantastic views. You need to try the Banyan Swirl (zero-proof cocktail). That was the best drink I had on my entire vacation.

Time to hang out with friends at the beach bar. The place is in the hotel with beautiful and classy interior. Nice live music and the area outside is very casual. It was a party mix of people who live in Chinatown, Waialae - Kahala, NYC and Santiago CA. It was a fun night and catch up with longtime friends.

The Beach Bar at the Westin Moana Surfrider quickly became our favorite spot in Waikiki—we ended up hanging out there every single night! 🌴✨ The atmosphere is unbeatable with ocean views, a lively vibe, and the perfect mix of relaxation and fun.

The drinks are incredible—our go-tos were the Lava Flow with a dark rum float (absolute perfection!) and the Lychee Martini, but you really can’t go wrong here. Their Mai Tai is also one of the best I’ve ever had. 🍹

The staff deserves a huge shout-out—they’re attentive, friendly, and make you feel right at home. On top of that, the food is just as amazing as the drinks. We tried several meals, but the Surf & Turf is a must-have. Delicious, perfectly cooked, and highly recommended!

If you’re in Waikiki, don’t miss this spot. Great drinks, great food, great people—The Beach Bar is pure island magic. 🌺🌊

Sadly they are affiliated with the Royal Hawaiian, so they don't know how to make a good Mai Tie, head over to Dukes or Tommy Bahamas if your want a good Mai Tie.

This is the spot to go to for a beautiful sunset meal and drinks. The fish tacos were terrific. It is a bit hard to get a good table so get in early.

Tasteful Travels

The Beach Bar at the Moana Surfrider, Weston Waikīkī is an idyllic spot for soaking in the essence of paradise. As I sipped a perfectly chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc, I watched waves gently crashing ashore and beachgoers joyfully playing in the warm Hawaiian sun. Relaxing beneath the expansive branches of the majestic banyan tree—planted in 1904 and renowned as one of the oldest and most beloved landmarks in Waikīkī—I felt enveloped by history and tranquility. The serene energy, complemented by breathtaking ocean views, gentle sea breezes and the serenade of the love music made this experience nothing short of heavenly. A must-visit oasis in Waikīkī.

This is a great little place to stop and have a quick bite, or simply sit in the rocking chairs and listen to the live music. The view is spectacular.

Went there to enjoy a drink at a bar next to the beach. We got a table further away from the beach since there were no tables near the ocean side. We sat down, ordered drinks with a waiter and noticed a table opened up near the beach area. My husband went to that table and I waited at our table to tell our waiter we moved. I asked if it was okay and he said yes. We got to our new table and our waiter acted very strange, not saying anything to us while giving us our drinks. We sat there for about 30min with no waiters coming to refill our water or asking us if we wanted any more drinks or food. Very disappointed with the staff.
