The BLT Croissant was delicious, it was accompanied with a side salad. Their caramel macchiato was also really tasty.

Food is good. But the online menu ordering option only allows ordering drinks, and the phone was not picked up when I called. Please modernize

OMG, the best pastrami sandwich with homemade, fresh ground rye, bread. Sandwich plus salad plus soup was a great deal. Third floor of Ala Moana Hotel, near the pool. Fantastic!!

Wife and I ordered pasta and drinks. The pasta was bland and flavorless, the soup that came with it was the same and taste like tomato soup and the salad we got was warm. My wife's mimosa did not taste like a mimosa, I think they did a different juice. I wanted a beer but they were out of all beer so I got a Mai Tai that didn't taste quite right either. Very disappointed and not worth the price. I do not recommend going here. Maybe their breakfast is better?

If you need a quick bite and staying at the Ala Moana hotel, this is a nice place. Reasonably priced and pretty quick, friendly staff and good food. There also a few table to dine inside or you can order to go.

Breakfast was phenomenal both days we visited. Servings were large and hot. Service was quick and plenty of seats to eat inside.

Lovely service and delicious, fresh food prepared by Chef Clayton (I had to ask his name as he was so kind, respectful and took such a pride in his job). From the amazing breakfast to the friendly staff, a perfect start to our day.

This place is good. Ask your server what is good and order with confidence! We were pleasantly surprised. Some in our party got breakfast, others tuna melt, pastrami sandwich and the chocolate croissant was amazing! Give it a go! No need to go walk around the city for something else.

The Café at DaDa is an excellent concept for a casual dine-in experience after a beauty treatment at the DaDa Salon. Besides, who wants to cook or drive around looking for a place to have a snack or meal after having your nails or hair done or a relaxing spa treatment? As we approached DaDa, there were two entrances... one goes into the salon, and the other is a direct entrance into this café. We entered through the open door and were cheerfully greeted by the young man behind the counter. The female server confirmed that we should order at the counter then feel free to find our table, which by the way, the seating options were socially distanced. All of the staff (kitchen and serving) were wearing face masks for COVID-19 safety restrictions. We chatted with the young man behind the counter, Layne, about the menu selections, which lean toward European or Western specialties as my eyes diverted to the refrigerated pastry case. Then, I took note of the culinary team through the kitchen window and recognized Chef Cyrus Goo, chef/owner of Kaimukī's former Café Laufer. In my mind, tiny bells rang reminders of Chef Goo's affinity to German cuisine and delicate pastries. So, as I scanned the menu with my husband, I suggested to him the Classic Veal Schnitzel aka Wiener Schnitzel, as getting veal preparations in Hawai'i is a rarity. I chose the Hot Pastrami Sandwich, which touts its pastrami's source voted as #1 on the West Coast.FOOD:-Classic Veal Schnitzel (Wiener Schnitzel) was served with housemade spaetzel, braised red cabbage, and house-baked rye bread. Did you know Austrian Law fiercely protects the use of the name "Wiener schnitzel," and ONLY veal can be used for this dish to be recognized as authentic. The tender veal cutlets were evenly breaded and fried until golden brown. A gorgeous mushroom sauce cascaded over the two good-sized cutlets. A generous portion of fresh späetzel, a traditional German noodle or dumpling, fried in butter, served as a great side dish. What surprised me was my husband's acceptance of the braised red cabbage (Rotkohl), a German sweet/sour red cabbage, given that he does not care for sweet & sour flavor combination. He was about to scrape it off his plate when I told him it's NOT like Cantonese sweet and sour, so he should try it. Secretly, I was hoping he'd give it to me...Hahaha. Well, he liked and didn't part with the rotkohl. The fresh-baked German Rey bread was excellent, and you can tell it's not from a commercial bakery. $28-Hot Pastrami Sandwich caught my eyes as I read the pastrami was voted #1 on the West Coast. Hm, I wondered if the pastrami was from Los Angeles' Langer's Delicatessen or Canter's or Art's, but Layne would only say that the supplier is R C Provisions. As soon as he mentioned the supplier's name, I knew its owners were none other than Norm Langer and Matt Giamela, having heard of them before while dining at Westlake's Langer's Delicatessen. Anyway, at first bite into the sandwich, the tender, flavorful and juicy pastrami dripped onto the plate as the slices of Swiss cheese continued to melt from the steaming hot pastrami. The same German rye bread was grilled just right with a lightly crisp exterior and soft interior holding the pastrami, cheese, and dijonnaise without breaking. Just thinking about the flavors and texture of that pastrami transports me to sitting in Langer's Deli, but now, I don't even have to travel to get my fix! $17The service was friendly and attentive even though you place order, pay at the counter and seat yourself. We were so full and content with our meals; we decided to close our tab without ordering any luscious desserts. We're excited to return for the rest of the menu items, such as the Gourmet Meat Loaf or Pan Seared Duck Breast.Photo of The Cafe at DaDa - Honolulu, HI, United StatesPhoto of The Cafe at DaDa - Honolulu, HI, United States.
