Always freezing and there was no WiFi
The new French employee there was excellent, he made my custom drink perfect and had wonderful service! However, it seems he had to work all alone despite there being another woman there with him- he was taking the orders at the register and running to make the food/drinks, and he was doing his best to keep up but it was non stop, and the other employee was mulling around not helping him or customers with anything and was mostly in the back hiding out of sight.
The employee who served me was wonderful but it seems like this location is a toxic workplace if the new person is expected to run the whole store alone with no help.
Jeron made me the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve been drinking coffee almost daily for over 20 years and have been to Europe. I ordered a pour over iced coffee with an extra shot (instead of an Americano when they are out of brewed hot or iced coffee). I finally got the opportunity to thank her in person today! It was perfectly nutty, not too strong, not watery or Starbucks burned/bitter. Thank you, Jeron!! Also, bring a book or two to drop off at their free book exchange.
like the food. However I had a gift card from them that I never used(probably a year old). It needs to be registered by the employee onto the system. He just kept telling me to swipe the card and I repeatedly told him the card needs to be registered by him (type the numbers in the back, and the one needed to be scratched off). Ultimately I needed to scratch it off and then he told me to manually put in the numbers myself. He was treating this like a regular credit card because after I put in the long set of numbers, it asked for an expiration date. From what I googled, coffee bean gift cards to not need or have an expiration date. I don’t think they know how to use money on a gift card. When I have used other types of gift cards, employees always takes it and registers it.
It took 15-20 minutes for one drink when there were few people there at 6am. The cashier was going to charge the wrong price unless I corrected her. The person who ordered after me got my drink before me. This slow service and others getting their drink happened multiple times. I gave it more chances but not going back due to repeated incidents. Also drinks are expensive.

Bathroom and WiFi are both out of order and have been for weeks
Stopped in here for coffee 10/3/2024 while pet was at vet clinic. Have been in here few times before and liked but today wasn't a good day for the gal working the register. Name started with a K. Was kind of nasty attitude when we ordered. Poor guy making drinks was slammed with orders. Both made us feel unwelcome. Coffee was good. May not return.

Me and my boyfriend came inside the store to study as we are college students, and immediately one of the middle aged workers, a lady began asking us many questions and being incredibly rude to us. When we came inside she immediately told us that they had no wifi, and whether we were going to buy something in a very condescending tone. Then she told us we had to be responsible for our belongings as if we didn’t know that. It’s not an airport, lady. Afterwards, when I asked for the bathroom key, and it was closed, she rudely made fun of us with her coworker for not noticing the entrance was blocked. Please don’t go to this store.

Worst coffee bean I’ve ever been to. The coffee was as expected but service was terrible. The employees didn’t make eye contact at all and could not have rushed us out faster. Bathroom was closed. I don’t think they even wanted customers. If I had not already ordered, would’ve just left.
I’m not difficult to please, just be polite for Pete’s sake.

A lady was very rude to me because I ordered a latte and preferred cold but no ice. I ordered it at various coffee shops and no one has any problem with that. People just filter out the ice in the last step. But this lady was so rude that ask me to order a hot latte next time if I don’t want ice. I read recent reviews and apparently not just me get treated badly. I will give negative stars if I can

Picked up a door dash and the store manager on june 8th at 1 pm was extremely rude and talked down towards me. If this is how she treats a delivery driver, imagine how she talks to her employees. Customers be wary when ordering in person or delivery. Even the employee apologized for her managers behavior

Every Sunday we go for our coffee to the Manoa location. Having read the last few 1 rated reviews I know who they are referring too. Upon entering we were snapped at by a barista who was not serving us. Can you not bring the dog in, Did you not see the sign, go read the sign. Other weekends this was not an issue and this barista was there. We had to leave the line and go outside and figure out what next to do. We felt like leaving but one of us decided to order. We ordered mango cold brew tea that tasted like water, the ham croissant wasn't heated even though I asked. When issues were brought up about tea, she said she didn't make it, it was made yesterday. Being a bar manager the energy this barista put out reflected the taste of both drinks, bitter and tasteless. I recommend her to work behind the scenes cause she will run customers away. We are reflecting on whether we will return. This person is clearly unhappy and is passive aggressive with customers. Where is the Aloha.

The person at register needs a lesson in customer service. Very rude to visitors. Made rude remarks to every single person in my group. This lady should not be working in customer service. However, lady making coffee was very sweet and made delicious coffee!
