Valerie was great! Her amazing introduction and recommendations guided us through the journey of Chef Ricky’s food, and we had an amazing and smooth experience. The food was worth the wait and had us all salivating. Cannot wait to return and enjoy more- and looking forward to seeing Miss Valerie again!

The food was really good. Try the lobster. It's not huge but it has amazing flavor. Try it! The mashed potatoes were smooth and savory. The jidori chicken was a surprise. They way it was roasted and flavored was visualy and tastefully enjoyable.
Our servers were attentive and friendly. They created a good memory for our anniversary.

Mahalo Cutlery!

I got the worst haircut of my life here. Asked to cut half an inch from the front and taper the rest, he cut my hair so short it was effectively an 8 guard in the front. Proceeded to blame it on the water he sprayed making my hair look longer. Please do not go here.

Love. Simple menu with great choices. Lychee martini was best ever. Steak was bomb. Loved this vibe.

Good food, for the location is very overpriced, service is okay, terrible bathrooms and outdoor area.
Honolulu has much better luxurious steak restaurant at a much better price and better quality steak.

6:30pm reservation: we arrived early. Waitress warned us that the Jidori Chicken can take 40min, but all entrees took over an hour to come out. Our mistake filling up on the appetizers from Oysters, Duck Fries, shrooms, prawns, clams, tako leg, & mashed potatoes. Mix up w the order; we were short 1 entree. Good thing we were full of appetizers. Coconut mojito was delicious. Parking is nutz, so go early to find street parking. Looks like a gr8 place for couples , too bad we had a party of 7. Lamb was a bit salty; ox tail ragu, rib eye, & jidori chicken were excellent. Good place to try once; definitely unique.

A hidden gem! Our steak was cooked to perfection, delicious drinks, and the service was phenomenal. I found this location on a random search on Google Maps and I am so glad I did. A perfect date night spot- highly recommend!

Excellent food - great service - wonderful atmosphere. We had Kaitlyn and she was fantastic - offered a lot of advice about what was great. The oysters were a perfect starter. The Pulehu Tako was amazing. We ordered both salads and they were both fantastic - just the right amount of dressing and very fresh. We shared the lamb and they were able to cut it up so it was easy to eat. Best brussels sprouts I've ever eaten. All in all remarkable experience and we will be back!!

I didn’t get a haircut here but my dinner was awesome

First off, service here was exceptional. Attentive but not overbearing. They went to great lengths to take care of us.
Prime rib is a must but make sure you order it when you make your reservation.
If for some reason you don’t order ahead of your visit, no worries. The seafood pasta is an excellent choice and don’t forget about the rack of lamb. I’m sure there are other excellent options on the menu but that’s all I can speak to.
The sides were also great. We had the Brussels sprouts and the duck fat fries. They were great. Another person in our group had the truffle mashed potatoes. Sorry no pic of that.
Highly recommend this place for an evening out.

Food was great but it took 2 hrs to get our meal! And they kept asking us if everything was ok? Um how about the food we ordered 2 hrs ago?! We won't be going back.

1000/10. If you want to go to a steakhouse, choose the Cutlery! Incredible locally owned place. Staff takes so much pride in their job and owners take pride in their business. Will be sending lots of people there!

Kaimuki's neighborhood steakhouse. Excellent food, large portions, really get your money's worth. Always get the pork chop smothered in morel mushroom gravy but this time tried the bone marrow and lamb chops for the first time. Both have unique herbal dressings that are so good. If you have room left, the sweet potato pie made cobbler style is terrific.

Everything was delicious. Drinks are more on the sweet side, but very enjoyable. The Empress, a gin and lychee cocktail is a beauty to look at and my favorite. The porterhouse was perfectly seasoned, so tender, and embodied that smoky flavor that you smell walking into the restaurant. The prime rib was melt in your mouth. Duck fat fries, Brussels, and truffle mash were perfect accompaniments to the meats. Ambiance was great and bartender was very attentive throughout. Topped it off with the neopolitan ice cream pie which was the perfect ending, just needed some mac nuts to be extra perfect. Definitely glad we finally got to try this place out!
