Best brew pub in Honolulu. Imaginative concoctions and great dishes. Attentive service. Sometimes it's a hunt for parking. Recommendation: High

We enjoyed our dinner and will be back. It was a little loud for us. The service was very good and the food was good. We will perhaps try some different dishes next time, but it's a nice place.

From brisket to ramen to lemongrass chicken, we all ate happily. Polite and attentive service, too. We'd never say upstairs in the moon room before, but it was a lovely spot.

The server that we had was very rude, not really taking genuine care of our table, and that kind of ruin the experience for us. Everything else was good

Chef Wong blew our minds with the various shrimp dishes, eggplant bruschetta, smoked marlin toast, beet salad, etc. Our bartender Jose mixed some delicious drinks and played upbeat rhythms which all combined to an elevated experience. Mahalo to all

We had a party of 15-20 and they took great care of us! The HH food and drinks are great and our server was super friendly!

Service was prompt. Food was tasty and fairly priced. Beers were great. Parking is scarce so plan on about a 5 -7 minute walk to the restaurant after finding street parking.

We went there for brunch on Sunda. Everyone was friendly and the food was excellent and we didn't need to wait. I will definitely be going back again.

Food and drinks was good, but the service was not the best. Once we were seated we waited for about 10 minutes before we were greeted by our server. Trying to order more drinks and food was a little hard due to the limited amount of staff they had in the upstairs area.

Great service and vibes! The beer was on point and the food was tasty. The highlight was the garlic shrimp - amazing! Definitely a fun place to grab a casual dinner.

Perfect spot for Blaisdell (5 min walk) events. Huge selection of tap beers, great staff, spacious, and clean.

The staff were so quick and attentive. Our drinks and food came out so quick, especially for a busy Friday night. The food was amazing, we didn't even have any leftovers to bring home! Definitely recommend for anyone in the area, especially for dinner and drinks around an event at Blaisdell.

My sister-in-law and I were trying to figure out where to go for Mother's Day, and I suggested Hana Koa since my fiancé and I had a great experience there before. We're getting married in a week, and I really wanted this lunch to be a special thank-you to his mom and family for all their support. Unfortunately, the whole experience was pretty disappointing—and honestly a little embarrassing since I was the one who planned it. Our server was sweet, and we got our orders in, but my plate never came. Turns out it was forgotten entirely and only started once I asked about it. I was willing to overlook that, but things just kept going downhill. My brother-in-law ordered the Lemongrass Chicken, and we were all excited to try it, but it was dry, bland, and so tough in places it felt like chewing jerky. We asked a food runner if that was really the dish, and he looked at it, made a face, said “yeah,” and walked off. We were all kind of stunned. When we asked our server, she said the salad dressing on the side was the “sauce” for the whole plate—but it didn't taste like lemongrass at all. They did comp it, which we appreciated. The rest of the food was just okay—the burgers and loco moco lacked flavor. The only real hits were the garlic shrimp and popcorn shrimp. I really wanted this lunch to be something special, and it just fell flat in every way.

Hana Koa Brewing Co. is a vibrant spot in Honolulu's craft beer scene, offering a wide range of beers and a lively atmosphere. A+ all the way
