Food and drinks was good, but the service was not the best. Once we were seated we waited for about 10 minutes before we were greeted by our server. Trying to order more drinks and food was a little hard due to the limited amount of staff they had in the upstairs area.

Great service and vibes! The beer was on point and the food was tasty. The highlight was the garlic shrimp - amazing! Definitely a fun place to grab a casual dinner.

Perfect spot for Blaisdell (5 min walk) events. Huge selection of tap beers, great staff, spacious, and clean.

The staff were so quick and attentive. Our drinks and food came out so quick, especially for a busy Friday night. The food was amazing, we didn't even have any leftovers to bring home! Definitely recommend for anyone in the area, especially for dinner and drinks around an event at Blaisdell.

My sister-in-law and I were trying to figure out where to go for Mother's Day, and I suggested Hana Koa since my fiancé and I had a great experience there before. We're getting married in a week, and I really wanted this lunch to be a special thank-you to his mom and family for all their support. Unfortunately, the whole experience was pretty disappointing—and honestly a little embarrassing since I was the one who planned it. Our server was sweet, and we got our orders in, but my plate never came. Turns out it was forgotten entirely and only started once I asked about it. I was willing to overlook that, but things just kept going downhill. My brother-in-law ordered the Lemongrass Chicken, and we were all excited to try it, but it was dry, bland, and so tough in places it felt like chewing jerky. We asked a food runner if that was really the dish, and he looked at it, made a face, said “yeah,” and walked off. We were all kind of stunned. When we asked our server, she said the salad dressing on the side was the “sauce” for the whole plate—but it didn't taste like lemongrass at all. They did comp it, which we appreciated. The rest of the food was just okay—the burgers and loco moco lacked flavor. The only real hits were the garlic shrimp and popcorn shrimp. I really wanted this lunch to be something special, and it just fell flat in every way.

Hana Koa Brewing Co. is a vibrant spot in Honolulu's craft beer scene, offering a wide range of beers and a lively atmosphere. A+ all the way

Had reservations at 5:00 pm arrived early and were seated immediately. We we were greeted promptly by server who took our drink order , watered the table and explained the menu. Drinks came quickly. When we ordered dinner, the server explained and answered any questions about the menu. The food was served in about 10 minutes. All the food we ordered was well prepared and seasoned. Portions were good. Reasonable prices, good food and great service. The restaurant/ brewery was conversation noisy but not overwhelming. Hidden Gem: nice job to everyone we had contact with. Would highly recommend.

Never received our appetizers. They brought the appetizer plates but forgot the food. The menu keeps shrinking, making anyone on a restricted diet left short.

This place is a must stop for us whenever we're in town. Great food, good value and great beer. Highly recommend.

Sunday night after symphony had reservations for Hana Koa. Walked over before it got dark. Great spot to sit — comfy bench we could share. Really nice server, guy, Rami? Husb enjoyed favorite IPA. I liked the light Rice Breaker. Good sliced prime rib sandwich. Smoked marlin app would be better on toasted crunchy bread rather than soft baguette. Not noisy even though pretty full. We'll go again.

Did the yoga and pour then grabbed brunch afterwards. What a great way to spend a Sunday morning! Little workout followed by delicious meal and drinks with friends. 10/10 recommend!

Best food we had on our trip. Awesome service from the hostess to the bartenders to the servers! Loved the vibe here. We would definitely return if ever back in town.

Best brewery on the islands. Did not disappoint! Rice lager was insanely smooth while their hazy (two gems) was incredibly flavorful but yet crisp. The staff was righteous. Will 100% go back in the future.

The brews were a notch above what you expect from small/regional breweries. The diversity of options was great and our party had everything from burgers to ramen. Loved the appetizers and highly recommend the popcorn shrimp. We will definitely visit again.
