Hidden gem tucked on the 2nd floor of Ward Center by Nordstrom Rack, this bar/restaurant has now more parking than where it used to be before at Mccully and Young Street (the old ASB)Popular hangout for the late nite crowd as its one of the few places open late. Friendly bartenders and wait staff, great selection of drinks to choose from and now launched a happy hour from 4-6pm Sunday thru Thursday, with discounted food and drink specials?IYKYK.... the food is straight action. From the Oyster Shooters to the Social Moco, the food here is top notch. Nuff said???

Wendy was an amazing hostess with a very warm personality. I felt well accommodated and her recommendations were on point. Her service alone is noteworthy enough to make this review 5 stars across the board.

Great food, great mood! This lively dining establishment has several TVs surrounding the parameter and a decent bar. The food here is surprisingly delicious and is a great place to hang out over drinks. They are open late too!

I've been waiting to come to Social's new location. It was crowded on a Friday night so but sure to reserve a table if possible. The best part of the Social is their food. Some foods we tried were the Garlic Bacon Fried Rice, Truffle Parmesan Fries, Chef's Ribeye, Pepperoni and Cheese Quesadilla, and Fried Boneless Chicken Bites (Dynamite). My favorites were the Garlic Bacon Fried Rice. It had a great bacon flavor and nice chunks of bacon. The Truffle Fries were crispy and had a nice white dipping sauce that went well it, we also had garlic fries but preferred the Truffle fries as they were crispier and much tastier, the chicken, steak, and quesadilla were good but the others were my favorite. The staff was friendly and attentive also checking on our table if we needed anything which was great. The new location seems smaller than the previous location and still has dart boards. I miss the arcades they had at the previous location. Overall this is great place for dining and drinks. Will come back again.

Food was delicious and very filling. Drinks they serve are also a treat! The must gets are uni pasta and oyster shooters. Highly recommend and will be going back!

Service sucked. After an hour and a half of being seated we received only 1 round of drinks. Our table wasnt bussed or serviced since then. No food or drink orders taken. We walked up to the bar to cash our tab and left for food elsewhere. All the other tables around us were tended to. They ate and got their drinks in a faster manner than us. Wouldnt recommend unless you have a reservation, so call them but beware they dont have front help or someone solely dedicated to reservations.

"That's why I cried. Because you didn't need connections with other people. And yet you chose me. Not someone else. Me." - I Want to Eat Your Pancreas I was caught in the world of work, work, work, anime, and Kdrama when my social butterfly aka BFF reached out to me and said "I was wondering if that guy is ghosting me again...". Ha! I promise I wasn't drifting towards the anti-social social club, just a case of not enough hours in the day. She asked if I was all-in on meeting at The Social Honolulu. Yes, to social skills! Upon arrival we were greeted to a full house with only bar seating. Since we planned on socializing over cocktails we decided to sit at the bar. The Social Honolulu does not offer a happy hour, however it offers a menu for all taste buds. And of course the cocktail menu is what brought us in. After perusing our menu via QR, we decide to start with cocktails. BFF starts with Matcha Old Fashion ($15) and I choose the Social Mai Tai ($14). We quietly had a chuckle seeing our bartender almost a dead ringer for me lol... homie with baby blue top, jeans & extrovert tattoos. Stylish:D We decide it was pasta night, so BFF craved the Uni Mentaiko Spaghetti ($24) - uni mentaiko cream sauce, ikura, mentaiko, fried garlic chips, green onions, kizami nori. I felt the Truffle Bacon Penne Pasta ($24) - bacon, black truffle pate, beurre blanc, penne, shredded parmesan. Orders placed we catch up on life and our goals for the new year! We both liked the vibe and even though it was a full house with club music going, it was easy to converse. A chill spot! The cocktails on par and aesthetically pleasing. Cocktails were not only tasty, but strong too! BFF insisted bartender favored me lol. Pasta ready so time to dig in. We shared a fork full of each others dish, but tbh we were more into our own. I loved the Truffle Bacon Penne Pasta and BFF felt the same on her Uni Mentaiko Spaghetti! Rich in flavors and Al dente! We were pretty satisfied, so just added Kewalos on Tap! It was a smooth choice to end our lovely social night! In the end, I'd return, but would love the company of BFF again. Not being anti-social, just adore her & our chats about life, my doppelgänger, French pastries, and bucket hats. Thanks BFF for bringing me out and surprise treating me to a fun social night! A place to de-stress from work? This is where it's at. The first time I tried the Social was when they were located in McCully and parking was not the greatest over there. Since they moved to Ward, parking is not a huge issue. They are located on the second floor of South Shore Marketplace. The one thing I missed is their happy hour! Please bring it back :) The food and drinks are great! My favorite to get here is the uni mentaiko pasta. It's creamy and filling. Their portion is big so it's easy to share with people. This place does get crowded and loud during peak times which means service can be a little slow, but they try their best to get to everyone. For someone who doesn't like crowds, I prefer coming early to just eat and drink. If you have a big group, I do recommend making reservations or there will be a wait.

Had a great time with coworkers! Food and drinks were not overpriced. Free parking is a plus! Hopefully in the near future live music will be showing!
