An awesome cocktail experience will be had by anyone visiting this gem in an office building in downtown Honolulu. It is a speakeasy, so it requires reservations and it is a quiet place for guests to truly enjoy their libations. Both my wallet and liver will attest that I have enough experience drinking at these types of places to recognize it’s excellence.
Bar Leather Apron ranked at the top of my lists for cocktails in Honolulu and lived up to its reputation. I was unable to secure a reservation for drinks on a Tuesday night, but had hoped that my partner and I would be able to score seats as walk-ins. Finding the bar itself was a challenge, but look for the brightly lit lobby of the office building, go through the doors, look for a flight of stairs that leads to the bar, just off the elevator bank.
