Tia’s Taste of Samoa is true to its name. I don’t do reviews unless I absolutely LOVE it. Tia went above and beyond for me during my son’s graduation party. The oka tasted just like the ones we make back home. The palusami was creamy and rich, while the taro was absolutely phenomenal! Thank you so much Tia and family! See you again next time!

We went to FestPAC at the Convention Center and was hoping to find some cultural foods. Unfortunately, there was none, but we found this little hole-in-the-wall gem in Kalihi. We had Palusami (taro leaves, coconut milk), Palusami Pisupo (taro leaves, coconut milk, corn beef), Mulpipi (turkey tail) and Tia’s delicious Peach and Pineapple Pie. Everything was so ono! Tia and Ronald, a big mahalo! It was a pleasure to meet you both! We will definitely try some of your other items on the menu.

Meat in the dish very juicy and tender! I think it was lamb curry (Kale Mamoe?) if I remember correctly.. Everything was very cheap, too. Only like 9 dollars for plate. Panipopo was on point. Loved it!! Gotta come here again. Also thanks for delivering my pancake / pankeke... Only 1 dollar for 2 and they were huuuuuuuuge. Can get full off of that alone, amazing!

Loved this place! They have an awesome selection of savory and sweet Samoan food? They even sell Manapua with unique fillings like turkey tail! The portions are generous and the food is high quality. I’ll need to go back several more times to be able to try a little bit of everything. I took my food to-go but I liked that they have a good amount of seating available so you can eat there if you’d like? Very friendly service too!

Very, very local Hawaiian food. We came here to travel and wanted to try some local food. We highly recommend this store. It is a small shop run by a family. The people who come here to buy food are all locals, and the price is very reasonable. You can order the plate, there are three sides, and you can try everything; you can also order a special dish. There is also freshly made pineapple pie at the door. If you want to try local food, I recommend it!
