Decent dim sum. Not much choice in Waikiki if you are craving dim sum. What brings me back here is the exceptional and friendly service.

First of all. It's in the 3rd floor. Kinda hard to find especially if it's your first time going there. I only had the bund and shumai. I ordered them to go, the buns were perfect but the they forgot the sauce for the shumai so it was just ok.

First time I tried Tim Ho Wan was in the Philippines. So when I saw they had this in Oahu I had to go. The food was so good especially the Pork Buns. The ambiance was nice and service was good. Would definitely recommend!

No Aloha at Tim Ho Wan Waikiki. We've been to Tim Ho Wan in Irvine, Hong Kong and Las Vegas and have positive experiences there. Sadly the Tim Ho Wan that represents Waikiki does not meet the brand's reputation or standard.The hostess was very rude, barking orders at us, the customer, and unwilling to answer questions. Furthermore the manager on duty expressed annoyance when we mentioned the hostile behavior. Perhaps they were all in a bad mood because they were understaffed that day, but it is very unprofessional to be so unwelcoming to guests.Honestly, we have much better Dim Sum experiences in the neighboring Chinatown where the Auntie's are always friendly, the food is better, and the prices much more reasonable.I hope corporate takes note and proposes retraining of the staff.

It's a familiar store in Japan with long lines, but it seems like you can get in easily in Waikiki.The taste is still delicious, so it's a good idea to go if you get tired of Hawaiian food.You can't go wrong here. Everything is delicious. But you don't have to eat in Hawaii, so it's perfect when you're bored or missing Asia.

Location is nice but food is mid and overpriced. Was able to be quickly seated but service is disappointing - what kind of dim sum place doesn't offer any sauce for the dumplings? Their chengdu dumpling sauce has too much vinegar and garlic.

Dim sum being available during all hours of the day, Tim Ho Wan is the place to go. Hong Kong style dim sum and other favorites will satisfy one's palate. Good food at reasonable prices The waiters and waitresses are very attentive to your needs . Clearing empty dishes or replacing plates and napkins is automatic for them without the customer having to ask for it. The restaurant is clean and tables are cleared within minutes after the customer leaves Great place to enjoy your dim sum and noodles with your hot tea

The dim sum here is really good. But not as much of a variety compared to some other places. And most of the menu is shrimp, which isn't a problem for me since I like shrimp but if you aren't a fan then you might not have many options. The noodles were a bit plain but if you eat it with other stuff then it kind of balances out. When I'm in Waikiki and craving dim sum I like coming here.
