Bread is skinnier than a sub sandwich, but don't let the size fool you...it's extremely tasty & filling ...Loved the taste of the bread they use...I'm craving a Timmy T's Sandwich right now...but I think they're closed today:(

Overall the sandwich was ok , the bread was very good and the portion size for the price as well but the flavor seemed to be missing something. This negative review is mostly due to the customer experience , the cashier was very cold and not welcoming and when waiting for my sandwich I had a very bad interaction with a member of their staff. The experience was ruined before I even ate as they seemed to be more focused on getting you in and out then anything else even though it was completely empty at the time.

I was brought here by a friend because he was really craving this place... decided it's worth a shot! Ordered one of their recommended sandwiches- the Club Kailua. Even had the sandwich tossed at me. That's different. (It's okay I asked for it). It was still pandemic times so seeing one of the workers up front with the mask only covering half his face wasn't very reassuring. $10 for a sub that's 8".... Let's see. Opened it up and it looked promising- full to the brim with veggies and a decent amount of meat. But after biting into it, it was just lacking in... flavor. Of any kind. There was less flavor than if you made this into a salad. The "Hawaiian Style Bread" also lacked any flavor. I'm used to having sandwiches with something to savor about. This, did not have it. Maybe it's the wrong sandwich but at $10 a pop I'm not about to go experimenting. Also, there's no "meal" option which means the overpriced soda can and chips stay overpriced. They bought large signs outside their place that say "Best Sandwiches on the island!!". Sorry to say, you'll find much better elsewhere downtown.

Showed up on Tuesday at 12:45pm. Door was locked, employees were mopping the floor and counting cash. Guess it was either a really good day (other food places looked like they were hurting for business) or maybe the boss was gone that day. When the cat's away, the mice will play.

Make sure to go before 1:00pm...I got there at 1:00pm and they were already closing. I will update with a sandwich review once I have a chance to try one.

Got the veggie deluxe. It's a hearty sub with a nice balance of veggies to cheese and mayo. Glad I opted for a chip side. The sandwich is not salty (just a clean veggie taste with sone crunch from the finely shredded lettuce and tang from the tomato. The salt and vinegar chip made this a complete lunch. The bread tastes like they make it themselves. And, the sandwich makers are fast!

Fresh ingredients from a great sandwich place in downtown! I walked by the signs at the downtown location and noticed that the walking salad sign was missing a set of legs! Haha

I am not sure why I love this little place but they really do make the best fresh sandwiches. Consistently! I have ordered their #12 over and over and I am never disappointed. Fresh tasty bread, perfect amount of stuff and always super friendly service. Not to mention quick and fast. Covid obvious as sometimes the lines patiently socially distance and wait outside..but they move fast. This a great treat for anyone downtown for a grab n go. Its a bit hidden but worth the scavenger hunt to find. Give a try. Order #12 you wont be disappointed!

I found myself in a bit of a conundrum yesterday at work, no lunch, no snacks and no desire to leave the office to take care of any of my needs. Not wanting to use a delivery service like Door Dash etc. I went to Yelp looking for sandwich shops that delivered in my area and found that Timmy T's had a location in the area and offered delivery. For those familiar with mainland sandwich chain Jimmy Johns, Timmy T's is the Hawaii answer to those wants and needs. The menu offers a good variety of sandwiches and you're able to customize your sandwich and also offer lettuce wraps for the carb conscious. I ordered the Bird of Paradise sub, added cheese and cucumbers and a pickle. As someone who could eat pickles all day every day, nothing made me happier than being able to order a large Boar's Head pickle to accompany my sandwich AND it saved me from wanting bag of chips. Delivery was FAST. I was quoted about a 30-40 minute wait, but I kid you not, my food arrived in less than 20 minutes. The bread was soft, the sandwich was flavorful and had a good meat to veggie ratio and well the pickle was the icing on the cake. Timmy T's is well priced and I'd much rather spend my money on Boar's Head products versus the mystery meat Subway offers.

They're fast but they got time to create flavor. I finished filing paper downtown early and still had time on my parking receipt. $20 for two hours means I'm taking the whole two hours. Walking around, I couldn't really find something that sparked my interest for lunch and Timmy T's was close to the parking lot so I walked in. The place is really clean and brightly lit. I really like the appearance of the place. Unlike D'Angelo's in RI (I know you read that review) The staff greeted me the second I stepped in and stopped what they were doing (completing phone orders) to get to me. One lady asked for my order and jumped to it. While another person took the payment. And yes they accept non contact payments. Next thing I know my sandwich is right in front of me. They were like "Jimmy John" freaky fast. But they took time with making sure the Pacific Pastrami I got had flavor. This was Dee-lious-ussss. I usually get my pastrami heated (SD Subways no longer offer pastrami as stated in my reviews) but this one came cold and it was still good. Soft fresh bread, jammed packed with meat and veggies. The exact amount of mustard and mayo to add the taste but not overloaded to where everything falls out the min you bite into it. And the pickles and onions offer perfect amount of tang. The only regret is not getting the extra pile of pastrami for $2.99. Overall five stars because of speed, flavor, store appearance, and friendly staff. Now excuse me, I only got 1 min till my parking receipt expires. M

Ordered from Timmy T's a few time for lunch at work. I'm talking about bulk orders (15+ sandwiches) THIS PLACE GETS THE SANDWICHES TO US HUNGRY HEALTHCARE WORKERS SOOOO FAST. It's crazy how fast delivery is with these guys. And to get me started about the food!!!! DELICIOUS. Incredible. Satisfying. My favorite is the goodfella sandwich and I will continue to order my lunch from these guys so worth my money!!!

Hello restaurant workers please wear your masks thanks. I hope you had one while you made my sandwich. I've been meaning to try Timmy T's for lunch, as their $3 breakfast sammies are a great early morning boost. Bacon or ham with egg and cheese on a fluffy Hawaiian style roll. Add a cup of vanilla mac nut coffee for a dollar more if you need it. So ono. I placed my order online from their website, and jumped at the pastrami - I LOVE PASTRAMI. Added on tomatoes and cucumbers to go with the lettuce, red onion, pickle chips, and cheese. Removed mayo. Now here's where I had to take off a star - why is there no dijon mustard option? I really, really don't enjoy mustard, and didn't find that I'd be having it until my mouth was full of dijon mustard. The online menu DOES NOT list dijon as a part of the sandwich, and the customization menu shows no option either. Disappointing oversight. Despite this setback, the sandwich itself was pretty darn yummy. There was a pretty good amount of thin-cut, moist, flavorful pastrami within, accompanied by crisp veggies (love that pickle chip crunch and tang) on a fluffy roll. As a whole, the quality of individual ingredients really elevated the quality of the sando. Without the sharp dijon, this would have been an amazing experience. With that in mind, I'll probably be back at some point, but I'll be making extra sure to special request "no dijon," regardless of what the online menu does or does not list.

The signage caught my eye advertising the best sandwiches. Figure I would give this place a shot. Walked in after the lunch hour no line. I asked what the most popular item wad amd was pointed to the pastrami. The staff was extremely friendly and quick. Long story short... the sandwich is perfect. Loving every bite. Had to stop to write this review. But going back...the advertising dis not lie. The sandwiches rock. Thank you.
