Not a happy dinner experience. From the start, the service felt rushed and unfriendly. Within the first 10 minutes of sitting down, we were asked three times to place our order — before I even had time to finish reading the menu. As first-time customers, it felt unreasonable to assume we’d already know what to order. Questions about the menu were met with curt responses.

The skewers were average — you can find better elsewhere — but the prices were high. We spent over $90 for two people and still left feeling hungry. Because of the unpleasant service, we skipped ordering more and ended up grabbing snacks from the supermarket afterward.

Rather loud crowd and small space. Food is consistent and drinks are reasonably priced.

Make a reservation or you might not get a table. People either sit and drink for long periods of time.

Friendly staff and attentive. Yakitori takes some time but we'll worth the wait.

UPDATE!!!
Absolutely a definite pass...
They charge for lemon slices what an absolute joke. Make a better drink, and maybe the client won't ask for additional lemon slices.
The atmosphere and food is good 👍. However, I would recommend you to visit Aburiya Ibushi instead as the service is much better and more focused on the customer experience. Big pass!!!

Kamemeshi and Yakitori are on point. The anchovy french fries are a must order. Cheerful, unpretentious, izakaya vibes

The place was very busy. We had reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. Great food and nice ambience.

Excellent dining vibe with welcoming and high energy staff. The skews and small bites of karaage chicken, wasabi tako, anchovies fries were all great to share. Refreshing draft beers and yuzu sour drinks came in with chilled big mugs. The hospitality of our server Aya added extra flare to our lively dining experience and ordering more drinks and food than we could finish. They were graciously letting us stay past their normal closing time to finish our beer pitcher as much as possible. The restaurant is small and cozy. Reservation is highly recommended.

Drinks and appetizers came quickly. Sitting at the counter now and it has been 45 minutes since we put in our yakitori order so no food.
They apologized and asked if we wanted to cancel our order and go some where else as it was going to be another 10 minutes. At 9 pm I am not going to find another restaurant to eat at. Ridiculous.
We have been here multiple times but won’t come back and suggest you find another place with better service if you want yakitori. The fried food seems to come in a timely manner.
We will look for another yakitori restaurant

Terrible Experience – Not Worth It

Had a reservation but still waited an hour. Most menu items were sold out, and the seating was cramped and uncomfortable. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. After finishing my meal, the server insisted that I tip at least 15%, even though I explained that I only had a limited amount of cash with me. Despite that, she pressured me to pay the remaining amount using my card. When I couldn’t meet the full 15%, her attitude changed drastically — from smiling to visibly unfriendly. She even lectured me, saying that in the U.S., it’s mandatory to tip a minimum of 15%. I found this extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. A tip should be voluntary based on the quality of service, not something forced upon customers. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to others.
