If I come to Oahu again, I will definitely come to this Yakitori restaurant a few more times. The skewers are moderately salty and very flavorful. It reminds me of many gourmet restaurants in Kansai.

One of my favorite spots to visit for a late dinner. Prices are reasonable, there is a great selection, and food is tasty.

A decent yakitori restaurant. Nothing fancy but good as daily spot if there’s no wait.

The flavor is on the mild side for both Teriyaki and salt. Might need to visit other restaurants if you expect more char and flavor.

Pork, beef, and chicken are good. Too bad there’s no skin available during my visit. Scallops aren’t good.

Torikyu is a must visit. We enjoyed the chicken tail, quail egg, chicken thigh, and beef skewers the most. Everything we had was delicious. The staff is very friendly and their Chuhai’s are fantastic.

Overall disappointed coming here after checking all reviews, we felt like the taste is aright but wish the ingredient quality is better.

poor service. It shows they closed at 11:00 we arrived at 9:30 and waiter inside didn’t answer us. Some guest still eating there but server Being very rude and cold , keep attitude no answer us. Worst Japanese service I ever seen. If you closed show it on google map. Wasting my time and treat us no good.

Traditional Japanese yakitori restaurant, the place is small so I recommend booking in advance.

The food is good and reasonably priced as it is outside of the most touristy areas.

We were a group of 7 people. The way of ordering food (filling out a sheet) is not practical for large groups, and the fact that you can only divide the bill in two is not the most comfortable either.

Not an authentic yakitori. If you know what a true yakitori is supposed to be like, you would realize it just through the grilling technique and the tare flavor. The chicken tails are moist but teriyaki flavor was lacking. However if you’re craving for yakitori, it’s an ok place to try.I think the only dish that was made right was the takoyaki.

Overpriced and low quality chicken. Skewers were either undercooked or overcooked. Chicken liver was dry, charred to near dust, and blackened completely. Chicken skin was deep fried instead of grilled. Chicken wings were undercooked and flavorless. Service was great though.
