Spicy wings wasn’t spicy. Asked for 6 count of wings got rung up for 10. Fries weren’t salted. The chicken was so nasty, dry & over cooked I had to throw the whole thing out & was super upset about wasting 25$ on fries, wings & a drink. Just to not be able to eat it. The drink was solid that was it. Won’t be returning.

Uncle's Chicken is a small chicken shop located near Sakana in Kalihi. I placed a 5 chicken sandwich order around 11:20 and was quoted 15 minutes. I left downtown to grab the food right after and my food was ready by the time I got there. Very impressive chicken sandwich. I got the spicy one and it was only spicy in certain parts of my sandwich, which is why I gave minus one star. It seems like I was eating the original sandwich and put hot sauce in one spot of my sandwich. Other than that, the chicken was moist and crispy. The bread was so good. Seemed like a sweet bread bun. Definitely put the sandwich together. I think one thing I wish they included was pickles. That would make the sandwich complete! I would definitely come back if I was ever in the area. Their boba drinks look very impressive too.

Lunch time,ended up in Kalihi & there was Uncle's Chicken & Boba next to Diner's Drive Inin the same parking lot! The signage got us to stopregular store glass front, Boba drinks & Chicken menu, posted on glass windows. Inside plain & simple with about 5 tables for dine in& greeted by a nice woman behind the counter.Decided on the Spicy Chicken plate & a Diet Coke.Wait was not long as there were two orders before us.Was surprised by the nice presentation of the plate,served in a nice thick paper compartment container. The chicken was delicious cut into nite size pieces, two full scoops of white rice topped with furikake ( toasted seasoned seaweed flakes)a very nice addition to the presentation & taste & a side of yellow corn, dressed in a tasty mix!Quantity of food excellent! Plenty of good food for the two of us. Great Value for their Chicken plate!Chef was in the back & came out! Looks like a two man operation, keep up your excellent work! We'll go back & try more!!!

Clean hole in the wall type of place This is NOT a Korean chicken place. I think the owners are Chinese. The chicken was moist and tasty. Serving was huge! I had the tropical tea and it was yummy..not too sweet, not too tart. Definitely a place worth the money!

This unassuming chicken restaurant, located a short drive away from downtown Honolulu, is one of the best kept secrets on the whole island. Having tried many chicken favorites from the mainland as well as O'ahu favorites (i.e. Gus's Fried Chicken, Roscoe's, Lolo's, Sugoi, Mrs. Knott's etc.), I was skeptical...I tried the number 3 meal (2-quarter fried chicken with corn and rice); MAKE IT SPICY instead of original. For $13.95, this is an amazing deal for your hard-earned dollar. The chicken is cooked to order and is screaming hot. It is prepared in a spicy but flavorful marinade that keeps the chicken extremely moist and tender. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS CHICKEN. I can confidently say that this is BEST FRIED CHICKEN that I have tried. The portions are LARGE, the owners are so friendly, and the price is RIGHT.Also, Uncle's has a moderate sized tea and boba menu to help dampen the spicy fried chicken. It's an amazing combination! I also highly recommend trying the A) spicy chicken filet (fried filet with sweet sauce and spiced mayo - a welcome alternative to all the typical katsu options across the island), B) popcorn chicken (a sneaky little spice perfect for snacking), C) Hokkaido uji matcha tea (creamy and nutty flavor pairs perfect with their chicken), D) shrimp burger (crispy fried shrimp burger with nice chunks of shrimp on a tasty bun - reminiscent of fried shrimp balls; a dim sum classic BUT in a burger form), and E) tofu pudding dessert (a refreshing tofu dessert with delicious jellies and lite syrup)Uncle's Chicken is worth visiting to try some of the most unique, crispy, dollar-friendly meals in the whole State! I've also had their other fried and grilled items on the menu during my past visits, they were pretty good too.Phone order to dine-in if you don't want to wait, they freshly fry the items so it takes time.Easy parking. Nice seating space (not many tables though).Nice staff, great customer service.

Great place to grab a quick bite--was craving some sort of fried chicken, and was thrilled when I saw that they had a side of popcorn chicken available on the menu. Quick, efficient service, and I was out there with my popcorn chicken in hand in no time. The bite-sized chicken pieces were crispy with a juicy and succulent interior. Sauce on the side was reminiscent of honey mustard: savory, with a touch of sweetness. Will be back!
