let me start by saying that we discovered this restaurant in Kailua and fell in love with the food and the staff. they were attentive to my dietary restrictions (gluten free) and told me the items I could and could not have. they were super accommodating when I ran out of fish and wanted to add some more too. Update: So I ordered again to give the place another try. I ordered a salmon bowl again. I asked again for no sauce, in much more specific terms and hoped for the best. They came through this time and I was able to enjoy the food without worrying, so I'm very happy. It was yummy, but I did notice the sprouts and cucumbers were missing. These were listed in the base ingredients for the bowl, which is why I didn't request them as an add-on. It's a pretty pricey meal,...

Ever since I ate poke at Nico's, I've been craving tuna.
I went to this restaurant because it was recommended in the book <Real Hawaii 2023>.
I had a roll with tuna and it was delicious.
Transplant.. The drink was unusual, but it was delicious.
