I went on assignment to Hawaii on my way back I was able to stay there before my flight for about 3 hours. The guy serving the food was a marine very calm and awesome gentleman. Very great experience
I spent over a decade in Hawaii and I've flown out of and into HNL so many times, but never made it down to the USO.. Honestly glad that I did. The volunteers are friendly and helpful, quick to offer you a drink or a bite with a story or two if you're interested. Chairs are comfy and the facilities are clean. It's just what you need to kill some time before a flight.
The vollenteers inside are so friendly. The space has many comfy places to relax. They have a separate room for the kids to enjoy playing and washer/dryer/shower facilities.
