Music by David Swanson is fantastic. Dancing in the hallway is fun.

First time here recommended by some couple we met and they were absolutely right. Everything from the appetizers to the amazing filet it was perfect. Our server Travis was taking care of about 6 tables including a large party of 10 and he did not disappoint. We enjoyed the music and dancing in this perfect restaurant that had view of the strip. This is a must visit!!

Love the dancing, drink selections, and friendliness of the staff. Come in one night for some lovely and lovely music. 80s- todays pop hits on grand &electric piano and sing along. Condensed version of the course dining available at the beach house available a la cart. Good alcohol selection. Been several times and will return.

The vibe and service here is pretty amazing! The cocktail menu is simple but packs the punch! It sits within the Moana SR and if you’re on the strip, stop by for a drink. You might even book at room at the hotel it’s that nice!
Lots of people in the queue but the wait is worth it because the coffee there is great and breakfast choices although not a great range, is delicious. Served by very pleasant people!
The Vintage 1901 is tucked away on the back porch overlooking the famously banyan tree at the beach behind the Moana Surfrider Hotel. It’s a great spot for drinks, but they also have the same menu as the main restaurant so you can get wonderful food as well. We decided to go for a series of appetizers to split, starting with a very good Caesar Salad. Next was 1901 Sliders made with delicious prime rib. The crab cakes were very tasty and the crispy asparagus was excellent as well. We finished with an incredible desert, guava vacherin. We had 2 helpful and professional staff (Ryan and Junior) serving us that really made it a great evening to watch the sunset.
Great hotel bar to stop at if you're in Waikiki. This is one of my favorite hotels and Waikiki's oldest, I think. This cocktail and pups spot is located up on the veranda and away from the beach bar. I usually stop in with friends or when playing tour guide to family members visiting. It's a lot less chaotic than the bar several steps away and the service has always been quick and friendly. I find when ever I'm sitting down at the "Beach Bar" that service is always so slow and impersonal. I know they're union employees and they're just going through the motions, but a little aloha or enthusiasm would be great. It's not limited to this place, I find most of the Waikiki establishments with union employees tend to lack service and don't have the guest's best interest in mind. I know that the staff at 1901 are also union, but I've lucked out on every visit that I've had such a good experience. The menu is small, but adequate. They offer a very decent selection of wines and even do wine flights. The beers are OK, but I get that they have to cater to a worldwide audience, not the craft beer lovers. Food is all small bites including crab cakes, a charcuterie/cheese platter, poke cups and sliders. Everything I've sampled was good and prices are reasonable for a corporate hotel in the heart of Waikiki. I never miss stopping at the "First Lady of Waikiki" for a cocktail and the views.
Vintage 1901 has a respectable wine list with prices one also expects, especially given the fact that this is an island in the Pacific. If you're worried about price then go to ABC, buy a bottle and drink it on the beach or the balcony (lanai) of your hotel. Service was friendly, but not correct. Wine was never presented. Champagne sabering was not offered. The location is a bit busy and overshadowed by the hustle and bustle of the lobby and the nearby pool area. Instead of the limited bar menu we ordered appetizers from the restaurant. The appetizers were good and reasonably priced. Vintage 1901 would be better if it were relocated upstairs to one of the balconies of the old hotel overlooking the courtyard.
Early Saturday evening wanted to just sit for a glass of wine and this is a great spot for that. Beautiful setting with nice seating areas and we got excellent service! Wine choices were good, ordered the sliders and in our opinion the bread was quite awful, otherwise good. Sooo .. we'd go again perhaps order something else from the pupus menu. Its almost like stepping into a moment in the old days of a different world.
Glad to see the return of Scott Smith tinkling the ivories this visit & with a glass of wine and tasty sliders the pizzazz has returned to Vintage 1901 & the lobby of the Moana.

This was the only bad spot I found at the Moana. After a night out we stopped at the WINE bar for a Glass of WINE, to our seprise the waiter, who by the way was way overwhelmed told us we could not be seated at a high top do to the fact he was saving a Seat at tha WINE bar for a couple having dinner. We walked over to the service station at the Beach House restaurant order our drink and had it on the front porch. We made it a great time all on our own. We would of had another if seated at the WINE bar but just lost the gumption to shlep my own drinks.
We spent an evening wine tasting and chatting with hotel staff and hotel manager. Hula performance and great ambiance. We will return.
located within the Moana Surfrider, this modern wine bar overlooks the court yard and has a nice selection of wines and small bites
Service is a little slow, but the selection is very nice. Drinks & Apps are good here. A good pit stop!
Excellent seafood array and good wine by the bottle. The atmosphere would be great but has little lateral shielding from beach bar crowd and accompanying noise. The hotel building (Moana SurfRider is something special - check out the museum on your way out.
