The Von's I usually order from was closed, so I got delivery from this location for the first time.The snow wings were soul-satisfying, as they always have been. It's good to find consistency of quality in different franchise locations. I continue to yearn for just a bit more cheese, though. But then they lost me with the mandoo. There was no option for "no sauce," just "regular," "mild," and " spicy." I didn't want any sauce but selected mild.They took great care to vent the container so the mandoo wouldn't get limp and soggy. Then they completely undermined that effort. Foolish me for assuming the sauce would be on the side. Instead, the mandoo were drenched in this sickly sticky and slightly sweet sauce. My taste buds were not amused. I don't care for them but I won't waste food, either.Should I order mandoo from here again, I will write in a special request for NO SAUCE.

Personally the best Korean chicken on the island. They have different flavors to choose from and it's cooked to the perfect crisp. I don't like that they have so much rice in a plate tho, it's like way too much rice for the amount of chicken they give you.

Whenever my hubby and I crave chicken wings, our thoughts go to Vons Chicken. Now, there are several locations in town, and just as a point of information, the pricing varies from location to location. We go to this location because, between the one in Waikiki, the location in Palama Market off Kalakaua, and this one, the location on Pensacola Street, is the lowest priced. It's one of our favorite items for tailgates. I gave this location 4 stars because parking is a challenge, and sometimes the person who answers the phone when we call in an order sounds like it's a hassle to take the order. With that said, we still love the wings, and honestly, anywhere you go, wings can be pretty pricey.So we have tried several different flavors, but our fav is the crispy shoyu chicken. Now, it is crisp, not your local-style plate lunch shoyu chicken. You've got to try it to understand the difference. It is finger-licking, lip-smacking good!The location is no-frills, so don't expect anything fancy. There is no sitting area, and parking can be a challenge. It is one of those hole-in-the-wall places that is worth a try.

We was in the area and wife was craving nag for some good chicken wings. Our first time for this location but been to the others. We love there style of fried chicken wings. They have a few flavors to choose from and they are really good. There always made to order and always fresh and hot. There is a bit of a wait since they make it fresh all the time. This place is nice and fairly renovated. It's a little small but due to its location this place would consider just be a take out order and not really a dine in like most of the restaurants I've been to. I notice they even have a bento menu few days of the week.

I ordered for my friends. The owner was working and she was super nice and easy to talk to.When I dropped the wings off, I noticed they were way smaller.Vons was my fav place because their wings were so big. But I get that everyone is still trying to recover.

Korean fried chicken is already another level, but Vons takes it even higher. I always crave Von's chicken because it is sooooo flavorful and crunchy! There are a good amount of flavors to choose from, but my favorite is the crispy shoyu chicken! The chicken is always so moist and crunchy, it never fails! Your order always comes out fresh and hot! I've heard the honey butter and snow fries are pretty bomb also, but my always go to is the shoyu. The mandoo is delicious also! Downside is they don't give any sauce with the mandoo. The prices are pretty expensive for the amount you get, but the taste makes it pretty worth it!

Ordered Spicy fried chicken and Garlic fried chicken from another vons location earlier this week and really enjoyed the wings! Then got to order from this location a few days after, and they fry and sauce it differently.Our 10 piece Garlic wings had lots of sauce, while our Spicy wings didn't have enough sauce. 1/2 our wings still had red meat, as if they were undercooked or due to being frozen wings.Phone ordered and it was 15-20 mins, recommend their wings generally!
