Food is pretty average. Male cashier has poor attitude. Talks down when asked a question about the food they’re eating. Disrespectful overall.

I used to visit the Vons on Pensacola street...this Korean Fried Chicken (kfc) shop is one of the originals in hawaii. Meaning before the Korean chicken popularity came to hawaii...they were one of the first.

Since I was nearby I decided to visit this location. Menu is slightly different, ex #4 was boneless chicken and fries. The other location only had boneless chicken plates. Anyways, got #4 with shoyu boneless chicken, it's my favorite. I have friends that enjoy the bone in chickens. It's up to you.

The shop is small, I'm assuming during the week most will buy to-go. What's interesting is they have a restaurant in restaurant. Apparently a small sign on the side says J & J with a menu of 5 plates for $10.99 to $15.99.

Regardless, service was nice and friendly. No issues while I ordered and wait.

I am just here from California visiting my son and his family and was looking for a place that had food my four year old would eat, after playing at the Children’s Discovery Center all morning. Von’s menu looked perfect so we did a really short drive there. I think we were there near closing but the staff were really very sweet and helpful and attentive. I highly recommend them!

The real KFC Korean Fried Chicken… it was so good hot fresh and the thin crispy fries a great accompaniment. Awesome service as well.

Love this location, the food is always so fresh and the restaurant is clean. I’ve been to a majority of all the other Vons and this one is by far the best! I got the spicy seasoned wings because it’s always my go to.

I was excited to try the famous Von's Chicken. And, it's okay. I'm not impressed with staff who spend the same amount of time on their phones as with the customers. Service was slow, and it was done to a bare minimum. Food took a while also. Stood around for just over 15 minutes for my lunch order. Rice, chicken, and salad. Meh.I will say nothing was bad, but it wasn't good either.

The food was cold and the wrong order. The manager was extremely rude and told me "Take it now!" He wouldn't correct the order nor would he heat up the chicken. He started screaming at us "Get out!" which really frightened us. DO NOT GO TO EAT HERE... PLEASE! The Chinese owner is a maniac!

I told my sister I wanted chicken and rice when she picked us up from the airport. She did not disappoint! Amazing! Everything was so fresh and really good. The food looked amazing. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly. I asked to come back again before we leave. YUM!
