Great place for Ramen as evidenced by the number of Japanese nationals slurping up shiryu here. It's all about the food here. Service is fine, tho they are always busy and seem understaffed. Same for atmosphere. This place is for serious slurpers only!!

We made an online reservation for this restaurant and even called to confirm our arrival time. However, when we arrived just 5 minutes later, we were told there was no table for us, and we weren’t even allowed to wait inside the restaurant.
We decided to switch to takeout instead, but as we were looking at the menu, the staff kept trying to push us out, saying things like, “Can you keep here clean?” in a very rude tone. This is the first time I’ve ever written a negative review for a restaurant, but the treatment we received was simply unacceptable. Aren’t we customers too? Why were we treated this way? I really want to give ZERO star if I can.

Like that this place is on the smaller side. However prkg is tight due to other business. Service is quick. Easy to order. Friendly & efficient staff. Love this place! Bathroom ? single stalls for Men & Women.

Parking: Think there's only about 12 stalls & street prkg. Hit or miss on prkg.

Insane ramen! The broth was soo thick and flavorful!! The noodles were on the perfect consistency.
The corn tempura was very good as well, and of course the karage was amazing!

I came here because a local recommended it to me and said it was delicious when I went there a long time ago.
Ordered the ramen set for lunch.
Wagaya Ramen White ➕ Gyoza and Salad

It seems like they used to ask how well the ramen was boiled, but not anymore.
Ramen soup is average. .
The noodles were raw boiled and honestly the noodles were not tasty. . Shocked by the first ramen in a while. .
The gyoza was also too oily so I left it behind.
A local friend also said that the taste was worse than before. .
It was a shame as I had high expectations.

Located across McCully McDonalds. Free Parking in front of restaurant. Join waitlist online website.
Noodles are al dente. Love the Tantán and garlic Tsukemin. Lunch specials with Gyoza, Daikon Salad, or chicken Karaage is a good way to taste a variety of menu items.

I used to get tuna sashimi from here almost once a week for a couple of years. I would tip well. The last two times there was a nearly rancid piece that I ended up getting sick over. Not going back and it makes me sad.

I lived in Oahu for five years. This quickly became my favorite restaurant on the island. I moved away two years ago and I think about the tan tan men quite frequently.i have never had any that came close. It’s almost to the point I’d pay good money to have the restaurant ship me the soup base so I can make it at home!

The pepper teba and corn tempura are more favorites of mine. Truly a great restaurant!!

While I’m not a fan of ramen, I accomplished a group of 3 others who raved about this place. Different for my palate but I enjoyed my meal.

Definitely worth the wait. Make sure the join the wait list, as it does gets very busy early.

The broth is rich, authentic full of flavor. The noodles are cooked firm. Get extra noodles if you are hungry.

Excellent service.
