Just okay. I put my reservation in 30 minutes ahead of time and we had to wait another 15 minutes to get seated. Prices are high and the ramen isn't as good as other places. We ordered as a party of 7 and got our food within 5 minutes. Half of us had firm noodles whcih made me think they were undercooked. I found the ika skin skewers tasty but way too expensive for the amount I got. One of their dividers fell on us but at least they were light. Service was good.

I came to Wagaya Ramen with big expectations after hearing good things, but overall it was just okay in terms of taste. I ordered the Hakaya Style Wagaya Ramen, corn tempura, and potato mochi. The corn tempura was definitely the highlight: crispy, sweet, and delicious. The ramen itself was decent but I’ve had better elsewhere.
Service was great though, the waiter was friendly, there was no wait to be seated, and the restaurant was clean. The noise level was moderate and the casual ambiance made it a comfortable place to dine. Not bad overall, but not as memorable as I hoped.

Came here to try the ramen after reading great reviews, was hoping for some “broke da mouth” food but did not find it to be so!
- the only thing I would recommend here is the ramen!
- Daikon salad was not great, wouldn’t order again! cold tofu was straight out of the box with added green onions and sauce!
- Overall prices are high for the food, tip is automatically added for party of 6 or above.

It can be a bit difficult to eat here…the parking lot is tiny and there always seems to be people on the waitlist. However, it’s worth it, especially at lunch time for the combo sets. $5 to add on three pieces of gyoza and a side dish…great deals. I got the kuro tonkotsu ramen with the chicken karaage bowl as part of the lunch combo set. Service was very fast. The food was good too. The gyoza was good, the karaage was juicy, and the kuro tonkotsu had a delicious broth with good toppings. Overall great ramen place, the only thing preventing this place from becoming my new go-to is the noodle texture which I think could be improved. But I’ll still be back.
@Maui World Travelers, self-described “ramen fanatic” but dislikes tonkotsu, is surprised by ajitama, and did not expect tsukemen broth to be concentrated in flavor when drinking it. Riiiight…
I came here with a group of four at around 11:50 AM. There was already a waitlist however it moves quickly. The restaurant opens at 10:30 and they're usually is already align. Also be aware of parking, the parking lot is shared with a church so make sure you do not park in the church parking lot or else you are at risk of being towed. Anyway, the restaurant is relatively small so if you have to wait, you'll be asked to wait outside. We put our names down again at 11:50 AM and waited. Probably about 15 to 20 minutes. As we were seated, there was already water, napkins, and chopsticks waiting at the table. Since we were waiting outside for our table, we were already able to know what we wanted to order and wasted no time in ordering.
The food comes out very quickly and is full of flavor and aroma. The pictures don't do it justice. Each bite was so flavorful and so delicious. It was definitely worth the wait. I ordered the tan tan men, which was spicy however for the day that it was today, it had me sweating. The food portions are relatively large so we left very full. We had four appetizers to share and that might've been a little bit too much food.
If you are coming to this restaurant with the group, the receipt allows, you to split the check evenly amongst the group, which is nice. Or you can just pay with the card and your server, whatever is easier for you. This was a great spot to visit if you're in the mood for ramen.

Rich and umami sesame and miso broth that isn't too salty, perfectly balanced, with springy noodles and fresh greens (just as for no egg and the vegetarian ramen is instantly vegan), the perfect comforting bowl of ramen with the Daikon Salad on the side (just ask for no Bonito Flakes).. I don't know WHAT the previous reviewer was going on about calling the ramen bland, it was great and I'm glad I went (will be back for sure). The Diakon salad is super refreshing, service was phenomenal, don't overlook this hole-in-the-wall! It gets busy because it's so good!

Fantatsic ramen. The garlic ramen was incredible. The noodles are chewy and remains that way throughout the meal. How does it void sogginess? Amazing. Great tasting ramen and awesome noodles.

I ordered the Garlic Tsukemen at Wagaya and it was phenomenal. The noodles were perfectly chewy, the dipping broth was rich and garlicky with deep umami flavor, and the chunks of tender pork melted in my mouth. Loved the bamboo shoots and greens that added a fresh contrast. Every bite was comforting and packed with flavor. Highly recommend for any ramen lover!

Chicken karaage was delicious. Ramen was delicious, we got the kuro. Generous amount of veggies. Broth was not too thick, very seasoned. Eggs cooked perfectly. Dessert was yummy, the mochi added great texture. It can be packed during lunch time.
