Not my type of meal, but the manager was very understanding and refunded my money. Awesome customer experience from this location!!
Awesome Mexican food at great prices. Portions are big. Worth the value.
I am glad that Hawaii has Wahoo's. The only other place I ate at Wahoo's was in California, which was a long time ago. The food here tastes great with decent portions. I highly recommend the 2-taco entree, which comes with rice and beans. There are a few choices for the meat, but I always get the fish. The prices are reasonable for what you get.
Love the fish tacos with 1/2 &1/2 beans and their white rice smothered in the green sauce.. I wish they bring back the salmon soon!!
We moved from Southern California to Honolulu and we were so stoked that Wahoo’s is close to our apartment in town. The one item combo (a “#1” in SoCal) is my fave and they serve it with my choice of black beans and brown rice. The pico de gallo is super onolicious, too. For friendly, professional service and tasty, fresh food, gotta go to Wahoo’s Fish Taco.
I love this place! The manager is very accommodating and kind. Will recommend definitely.
Ordered at the counter for takeout. Burrito contained very little fish; it is basically a rice and bean burrito. Also very disappointed with the portion size of the paleo bowl - the flame-broiled fish was dry. I paid $1 more to make the burrito “wet” and they obviously didn’t as you can see from my photo. Avoid this place at all costs. I welcome to speak with management at this location.
Super good! Can’t wait to go back and try the nachos
Pork carnitas burrito was horribly lacking in seasoning and taste... will not recommend or go back to this restaurant. A lot of food, just not seasoned properly.
Very bland food not worth the price. 45 bucks for three beers and five flavorless tacos. There tomatoes on top I guess was supposed to be salsa. Yuck service was good but you need a new cook
Restaurantji Recommends
This place cannot get an order right to save their lives. Watery burritos. Nothing like their fellow Wahoos in Huntington Beach. Surprised this place hasn't shut down yet
Great food that is healthy. Lots of options
Good food but they need Flower tortillas! Not corn that sucks so 4 stars get flour. Our server tho was amazing (Chloe) she was awesome and very helpful with local tips. By far one of the best waitresses / bar staff we have encountered. Thanks Chloe!
First of all they don't have any hot salsa. You're a taco place! We had a burrito and spicy fish taco, and chips and salsa. Everything was very bland. I don't ever use hot sauce but this stuff needed a lot, along with salt. The spicy fish in the taco was extremely mild. The rice looked like instant rice, and was flavourless. The Cajun beans were ok, but still bland. The tortilla chips were very fresh but unseasoned, sitting in a pool of oil. Definitely do not recommend.
I love the Mexican/Asian fusion concept. The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. Got the Palio bowl with the shrimp and carne asada for an agreed upon $4 upcharge. The meats were cooked great, but had to add hot sauce and some salt to flavor. I would return and get their Shredder sandwich next time!
