You cannot go wrong with any dish!!! Amazing food - favourites were the takowasa and the hamachi carpaccio. The drinks were also delicious!! Definitely on our repeat list for next visit!!!!

Quiet little izakaya tucked away from the noisy main road.

I wanted to like this spot a lot but the food just wasn’t great! I think I partially had high expectations based on the reviews that weren’t met.
The butterfish was pretty good. The chicken thigh was not too great - the skin and thigh were soft and tasted borderline undercooked. The salt and pepper rice were okay. I love a Negroni but they’re Japanese version of one didn’t really work
Finally the music!!?!?? Please don’t play top 40 radio hits and Taylor swift at a place like this on a Saturday
I will say the staff and service were great!! Keep it up!

Amazing dining experience. The sashimi was fresh, high quality, and served with real kizami wasabi. The ichibo steak was the best steak I have ever had and better than most fancy steakhouses. They also have an excellent assortment of drinks. If you want great Japanese cuisine, dine here!

Hidden gem of an Izakaya in Waikiki, with a wide selection of foods and sake. That evening's special was a Hamachi collar and it was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing food, fast and friendly service and a wonderful atmosphere. The Ichibo steak feels a bit under proportion for what you pay, but everything tasted heavenly and the staff are super friendly! The other food had good shareable portions and left you feeling full in a good way!

One of the best meals I’ve had in Oahu! We ordered the tataki cucumber, yukari fries, garlic pepper rice, yakisoba, and jidori chicken. Everything was super flavorful and the service was great. Will be back for sure!
