We had an awesome experience at Wasabi Bistro. A little gem off the beaten path. The sushi and sashimi was excellent and fabulous service... highly recommend!

The atmosphere was very nice and the food was delicious. It was a restaurant I would like to visit again.

Enjoyed the food in this small, nice Japanese style inn. Sushi and sashimi very fresh and delicious. Good sake and wine. Daily chickboard specials also good. Have been there 4 times and food consistency good.

We go here every time we visit Oahu. The service is always excellent no matter which waitstaff you get. I like their specials listed on the board. There's always something good. Great quality sushi, courteous service, menu variety. This is one of our favorite sushi places.

Nice Japanese restaurant with a cute and friendly vibe. The sushi was not the best, while other dishes tasted great.

The staff is really nice and are patient with their costumers. The also do a great job of explain food and drinks on the menu if you have any in-depth questions. I always bring my friends here when they're visiting Hawaii and every time is memorable.

Absolutely incredible!!! A must go with in Honolulu. Get the black cod, tempura avocado and miso soup. So dang good!!! Servers and staff are beyond lovely. Can't say enough good things about this place

This is my favorite restaurant in Waikiki! Great Japanese food with super friendly staff and just happens to be in our favorite hotel, The Breakers. Highly recommend!

We thought the food was nothing special. The blue fish was disappointing and fir $30 for a small piece of fish overpriced. . On the sushi plate the rolls were not very good. They dont allow you to order a salad , soup and rice package unless you buy one of the more expensive meals. Overall it was average at best and overpriced for sure. Personally i would not go back.

Excellent sashimi and tempura. Waiter was very helpful with sake choices. Nice to have ankimo on the menu too.

Each time we are in Hawaii (last visited 2 years ago), we would come and have dinner here. Menu is pretty much the same and very consistent in quality.

Zero notes. Every dish our table ordered was outstanding, the ambiance is lovely, the value is excellent, and the quality of the uni was superb.

Wasabi Bistro was an absolute gem! The food was superb, but the standout for me was their papaya dish—so fresh and flavorful, it was unforgettable. Service was just as amazing. Our waiter somehow read my mind, appearing right when I needed something, making the whole dining experience effortless and enjoyable. We finished with their ube mochi ice cream, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. So sad we only discovered this place on our last night, but it was definitely a highlight of our mother-daughter trip. Would absolutely return next time in Waikiki!

Wonderful experience overall; the bistro has an intimate setting with seating for probably 20 people at max. The ambience is stellar, the servers/hosts are knowledgeable, helpful, considerate and engaging. The food was mouth watering and we kept ordering different items off the menu. We had a great time and would definitely return upon coming back to Waikiki again!

Small little place so be sure to make
Reservations.

We try not to compare restaurant to restaurant. Price, quality, ambience, selection, etc, can vary so we try hard to measure each restaurant (especially sushi) on their own merits.

This one nailed each dish. Perfect yellowtail carpaccio. Flawless crispy rice spicy tuna. Each blue fin toro roll was giving me goose bumps on a hot and humid evening. Wow!

Service was calm, polite and informative.

I would go back in a heartbeat.
