I really love the taste of their milk tea. It has more of a tea flavor. And if you're thinking about the smoothie you can substitute it out for coconut milk. The wonton chili sauce is ridiculously good as well!

I went in to grab boba today with a friend around 4:30pm. Sign on the door says they close at 6pm. There are 6+ people in the store (mixture of workers and friends). The open sign is not on, but the door is unlocked. I go in to ask if they are open, but the worker basically tells me they are closed by pointing at the off open sign. I ask why their store hours say till 6pm. The worker let's me know they are closed all week. As I'm leaving the said worker runs to get the key and locks the door behind me. Overall both my friend and I thought it was a bit rude. No apologies, but straight up 6+ people laughing at us for wanting to buy boba from them.

I am so happy that I accidentally found this place. I was dropping off a Biki, and felt parched. Saw this boba tea place and decided to give it a try, no prior yelping. I am so glad I did! I got a mixed fruit tea and they did not skimp on the fruit. So refreshing. I would highly recommend going here on purpose and will be back next time I go to Whole Foods down the street.

Great service! Love the passion fruit tea! Very nice and clean inside! Paired with prices, this shop is a top tier bubble tea visit!

Really great milk tea! The cups are so cute and different and their menu has so many options. Their tea has great flavor and the grass jelly was perfectly soft.

I ordered the strawberry yogurt drink with boba and frankly, it was subpar. First of all, there was no yogurt in the supposed yogurt drink and it tasted somewhat artificial and like cough syrup, despite the strawberry chunks dispersed throughout. The boba was tough and made my teeth squeak. Furthermore, I have a myriad of complaints related to the straw. It was made of very flimsy paper and disintegrated/ tore halfway through drinking it, so I removed the lid to drink straight from the cup. Unbeknownst to me, the plastic circle on the lid that the straw punches out when inserted broke off and fell into my beverage (which it is not supposed to do) and I subsequently swallowed it by accident. This posed the risk of esophageal perforation, intestinal obstruction, rectal tear or other health problems related to the alimentary canal. Please get better straws, better lids, better recipes, and better boba.

I do have the passion for tea and yes I've finally made it here to Wave Tea!! Located right across McKinley HS on Kapiolani Blvd that shares the building with public storage and a AT&T with plenty of parking right out back Wave Tea is refreshing convenient for a quick ride to your happy place. Passion fruit tea aahhh yum! They use fresh fruit and you can definitely taste it it's shaken with some lime that adds that nice kick to it with just a touch 25% sweetness it's all I need. With Fivestars they offer 15% off how can you not..?! I love that they have seating available both indoors and outdoors it makes it much more easier to ride the wave and enjoy that amazing cup of tea. Thank you!!

They have great tea and drink to choose from, my personal favorite is the passion fruit tea. They also have a percentage of sugar you can choose from. So if you don't like your drink to sweet you can always choose 25% or zero sugar which I think is a really cool. The only thing I would hope they change is making sure that the whole menu is available for ordering online because when I tried to order for some reason part of the menu is missing on multiple online delivery platform and my favorites drink (passion fruit tea) is one of the items missing on the delivery apps. Other than that they are a great bubble drink and tea place and would highly recommend

5/5 for service, 2/5 for drinks They close at 6pm daily and I was determined to finally try this place since I was in the area, so I booked it over and stumbled in at 5:55pm. I apologized profusely for being "that customer" and the worker was super sweet and told me to take my time. I decided on the Mango Cheese Tea ($6.25) since they said it was one of the most popular drinks. They asked if I wanted boba but I know that the boba isn't the freshest before closing, so I declined. I wished I had gotten a different topping though, since the drink lacked texture lol. They said they use real mango and I could taste it and feel the little fibers, but I also saw another worker bringing out one of those fruit concentrates that you find at Chef Zone while making my order, so I'm not sure howww much of the drink consists of real fruits. The cheese foam portion was extremely sad and nothing like the other photos I saw on Yelp. If I didn't see him adding the foam I probably wouldn't have known it was there just by looking at it. That was the super disappointing part, as I came specifically to try the cheese foam here to compare it to other shops. The three sips that I did get of the foam were good. Subtle, creamy, and not as salty as other places. After the cheese foam was all gone, all I had left was a mango smootie that I probably could've made at home with just frozen mangoes, water and ice. Not worth $6.25 plus tax, in my opinion.

So the only drinks I've gotten here are the fruit teas-- especially passion fruit tea. I love it because they put real passion fruit juice in it and it's very refreshing. No syrup. I like the outdoor seating too. Owners seem really nice. One of my favorite tea places.

My absolute favorite Boba tea!!! At Wave Tea, I normally order the brown sugar boba with cheese foam & 75% sweet. Its tastes so fresh and delicious! The cheese foam is crazy good! Now I can't have boba without cheese foam! The different textures, chewyness, freshness and taste is 100% delicious! Thank you Wave Tea for being so close to my home!

This is a cute little place. Parking lot is in the back, nice selection of boba items and friendly service. Prices were reasonable and if your in the area and looking for this type of specialty drinks this is a good spot.
