I was craving chicken wings, so I stopped by Wingstop on Dillingham. I didn’t realize how busy the construction around the area was, so it took a bit longer than expected to get there.
I ordered the Louisiana Rub and Spicy Korean wings. They were good enough to satisfy my craving—nothing bad, but nothing particularly special either. Just straightforward chicken wings that do the job.
The service was okay, but the dining room felt disorganized. Several tables had discarded packaging left behind, and there didn’t appear to be anyone clearing them. This affected the experience—it didn’t feel very welcoming and made the space feel a bit unsanitary. It may have been due to the staff being busy in the kitchen, but it still stood out.
Overall, an average visit—fine if you’re craving wings and know what to expect.

Been a few years since I have been and was pleasantly surprised. Wings were better than I remember and the sauces were just enough to flavor but not drown. We tried 4 but my fave was the spicy Korean BBQ. Will be back but would order ahead instead of waiting. Enjoy!

I went into this Wingstop after putting in an online order for 24 Wings: Six boneless and the rest traditional, only for me to get there 30 minutes after this location opened to find out that they didn't have any traditional wings 30 minutes after Wingstop opened. Needless to say I'll probably never revisit this particular Wingstop again because not having traditional wings 30 minutes after you open is unacceptable and having to get all boneless instead of what I originally wanted to order is also unacceptable. I was told that they were completely out of traditional wings and we only have boneless. I try to stay away from the Boneless Wings because they're over breaded and over salted. I didn't even finish the food I ordered.

Haven’t had a problem here, but the wait time can get quite rough during busy hours.

Ordered takeout which had a pickup time of 7:20, I got there at 7:30 and didnt get my food until almost 8. They printed the label wrong so over half my order wasnt even made and I had to wait for them to make my food and they still somehow gave me the wrong items. I paid extra for all flats and had more drums, I ordered honey hot and received some shitty daves red hot covered wings. They couldn’t even get the fries right, I ordered buffalo ranch fries and got some microwaved bullshit that was soggy and unseasoned. Regardless of how badly you want some wings just save your money

It's terrible, waiting LONG time to cook my chicken. DO NOT order from there if you are hungry.
Took almost 1 hour to have our order ready for pickup٫ the 8 piece chicken wings were cold and the French fries soggy and also cold. will not return to the Dillingham location again

My husband ordered online and picked up in store. Here is a photo of my garlic Parmesan chicken sandwich. It’s burnt beyond being edible. I’d love to know who boxed this to actually serve to someone to eat. PATHETIC.

I am writing to formally raise a serious concern regarding the operational setup at Wingstop’s Honolulu location. This is not simply a local inconvenience, but a recurring systems issue that reflects directly on corporate-level planning.
During my most recent visit, I observed more than 20 customers crowded around the counter waiting for their orders. The in-store digital order board showed three full pages of pending orders (approximately 60 in total), yet virtually none of them were progressing in the system. I personally waited nearly 30 minutes, and many others had been waiting far longer.
The result was complete chaos:
20–30 customers clustered at the register, unsure of their order status.
Delivery drivers (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.) waiting 30–60 minutes with no clear process.
Employees overwhelmed and berated, not because of their own performance, but because of flawed corporate infrastructure.
This environment is unacceptable—for customers, third-party partners, and especially your staff. No minimum-wage employee should be subjected to verbal frustration from customers simply due to outdated systems.
Proposed Solutions:
Customer Pagers for In-Store Orders – Allow walk-in customers to leave the congested waiting area and return when paged.
Automated Order Notifications for Online Orders – Train staff to trigger customer notifications once an order is complete, eliminating the need for constant guesswork at the register.
Estimated Wait Time Visibility – If far busier restaurants can provide accurate progress tracking, Wingstop—with its corporate resources and data capabilities—can and should do the same.
Wingstop has the brand, the infrastructure, and the financial resources to resolve these inefficiencies quickly. Leaving things as they are damages customer loyalty, discourages delivery partners, and creates a stressful and demoralizing workplace for your staff.
I urge corporate management to take immediate action and implement a more efficient order management system. This is not simply about improving convenience—it’s about protecting employees from unnecessary abuse, maintaining brand reputation, and aligning with industry standards for operational excellence.
