was wandering around when I came across Wonderful Day Cafe. it was scorching, so I decided to take a look inside to cool down. fortunately, they served deserts and drinks as well as other items you'd expect at a Cafe. I ordered the Korean style shaved ice since I've never seen shaved ice prepared this way before. there were fresh slices of fruit, assorted flavors of mochi balls, and adzuki beans. eating it was so satisfying and refreshing. the price was also really good for the portion size. I am crushed and heartbroken that I could only experience this place once before they closed their doors on July 12. I am looking forward to the day they reopen so I can try all their flavors of shaved ice thank you for that truly wonderful day =')

Very friendly! Greeted with hellos and a casual atmosphere. and holy moly this shaved ice? Maybe one of the best things I've ever had. I didn't even know these existed with the red beans inside. I will definitely go out of my way to come back here.

My wife and I were walking down the street and saw the cafe. The proprietor was helpful and knowledgeable about the food he served, the portions, and what is popular. We had coffee and a green tea shaved ice and an açaí bowl. "Everything" was excellent and undoubtedly we had some of the best food today. We intend to go back more often to taste their other creations. The food and service were so good, we even asked the proprietor if they sold gift certificates. We wanted some of our friends and family to visit "Wonderful Day Cafe....," too bad they didn't have gift certificates but after speaking with the owner, he said that's it's in the works. We definitely want other people to discover this small restaurant.

Wow, a super cafe, a true gem! They serve 100% Kona coffee at a super price. I want to support small local shops because that's what makes Hawaii tick. Quality fresh fruit smoothies, croissant sandwiches with a touch of island flavor. They have attractive menus that will keep you coming back to a clean and well lit shop. The owner Glen is such a cool guy, Drop by and check it out! BTW, they're on Makaloa St., just a stones throw from Kalakaua Ave.

The korean shave ice was fantastic! The ice was so light and all of the toppings were very tasty - perfect for a hot day! The large was a big portion, but splitting between two people was perfect for us.

Very clean - they told me they opened just a few months ago. They were giving out some kind of twist hairband for everyone who purchase even one smoothie Club sandwich is AMAZING. Owners are SOOOO NICE . GOOD PEOPLE in general.

My dad brings home these takeout sandwiches every so often b/c it's near where he works. The price is reasonable. There's 3 slices of wheat bread with avocado, cheese, egg salad, tomato, lettuce, ham and mustard. If I'm not that hungry just the half will fill me up. I haven't tried the coffee but my dad says they're really good haha.
