I'm never hungry for hotdogs on the mainland but with John's stand here at the Ilikai where I live part time, it was convenient to grab a quick bite upon arriving on the island. Needless to say, it was the best hotdog I ever tasted. I've craved them since and keep going back for more. John, I hope this is your forever location.

Best Hot Dogs in Waikiki! Right next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village! Highly recommended if you like some good hot dogs after a good night or even during the day for a bite to eat.. John the owner is working there as well he's a very cool dude!

My keiki and I loved Johns World Famouz hotdogs for a quick and easy dinner bite after a day on the beach. Bonus points for having a vegan option ! Beef - chicken /veggie (vegan) avail along with chips and drinks (lilikoi Hawaiian Sun?! Say less!) John's yellow tent is set up every day late afternoon into the evening in the Ala Wai lot adjacent to the Hilton Hawaiian Lagoon. John himself is the nicest person - greeting all with so much aloha. Sometimes the line looks long but it goes quickly especially if you're getting a beef dog. Veggie and chicken is about 7minute wait because he throws them on the grill when ordered. So ono!

The hotdogs are absolutely worth driving 30 minutes for...me and my girlfriend do this once a week but the only problem I have is that he changes locations sometimes and makes it pretty damn hard to get a good hotdog

After going on HAWAIIAN PARASAIL we were starving and headed right over to John's. They were fantastic and had a meal that appealed to all of us and a fair price! Hard to beat and just feet from the beach!

If you're in the area and want a quick bite to eat, you will not regret it! Tip - get it loaded with everything minus the sauerkraut, amazing!
