Best steakhouse in Hawaii. Service is excellent. Went on Saturday and they had live music. Highly recommend.

First time visiting. The food was great. Bone in rib eye was done perfectly. Fat fried rice was something to try. If you ever tried home make fried rice that's what it taste like. That's what I call true fried rice. In side seating is AC but a bit noisy so we choose to seat outside which is way more comfortable. You'll be able to have a conversation without talking loud. I think that's one area the restaurant can make a small change on, just tune down the music a bit so people can hear each other. Food is a bit pricey but good. I don't mind going back to try other items on the menu.

Service was phenomenal! Great ambiance. Loved the Sax player. Steak was slightly over cooked. Side were fantastic! Typical steak house prices. Definitely would go back.

Overall it was an amazing dining experience. Our server Ryan was attentive and friendly, and the the ambiance was relaxing and fun at the same time because they had a someone playing the saxophone live in the restaurant. The food was brought out in a timely manner and the lamb that we got was cooked to the exact temperature we wanted. Looking forward to visiting here again next time.

The food was all good and the portions were big. Inside was a bit loud to be able to enjoy a conversation. I would definitely go back

We had a horrible experience on Valentine's Day at another restaurant. This was out do over. Everything was awesome as usual. We ate outside and the oysters were killer. Service was top notch. Always return.

For the price, not worth it. Food was good, but not memorable. Everything is just over priced for what it's like. Went here with a group of people (7) and had drinks. Total was almost $1,000. You get free table side taro bread and butter, and you choose a knife for the entrée. I got the filet mignon, it's was medium rare and seasoned well. Small portion of it had some fat that wasn't rendered down enough. Everyone's food was cooked to their request.
Although the service was good, they forgot our cocktails and whiskey several times throughout service.
Atmosphere was good too, the lights were dimmed, and they had live music playing. However, when looking around, not many people were in the restaurant.
Most of the photos I took were just of the appetizers.

Highly recommend. Had oyster, crab cakes, clam chowder, berries salad, Imperial Wagyu with a baked potato, and for dessert, beignets. All good especially the Imperial Wagyu. Service was excellent and we recommend Ryan & Kai. Manager, Darnell, came by and was very engaging and kind. Live music was the perfect ambiance. We loved this restaurant so much; we are planning to go again for my wife's birthday. For us, worth the price we paid.

We’ve eaten at alot of steakhouses and know a good steak. This was not one of them. Steak tasted gamey and sides were nothing special. I gave two stars because the staff was friendly

Excellent food and service. We had a gift card that we wanted to use so decided on a date night. We had crab cakes (excellent!) and ribeye and prime rib. Everything was outstanding and wait staff was extremely attentive. Would definitely visit again!

Superb food and atmosphere. Celebrated my birthday and had a fantastic time. Live music. Octopus, tomahawk steak, oysters, and beignets were all exceptional. Staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable!

been numerous times... food is the same.. very quiet as it was not full. but service was fine since they had only 2 waiters. best part the prime rib is now available everyday, and in different sizes.

Staff is friendly, however not as attentive. Service started off great in the beginning, but slowed as the night went on. Didn't get a chance to order dessert due to slow service, so my family decided to pick up dessert from 7 Gradi in the Salt, Kakaako. My family and I come to this restaurant often, and service is always a hit or miss, and I go to this restaurant for a particular cut of steak, that I thoroughly enjoy. The food is good, and they have a good selection. I really like this place because it's not like your stuffy Hy's where you need a dress code. Also I like it because I don't have to fight the crazy Waikiki traffic. Another competitor in the area is Ruth Chris, which is across the street in Restaurant Row, but Yaya's have a better selection and is more flavorful.
