Me and my co-worker meet up to this place, but I wasn't able to order online like I usually do. But one of the crew was there to help me and got it fixed. I would like to thank him for doing that. It was really a good meal and encourage people to visit this place.

Great spot if you want Japanese BBQ without the wait or the need for a large group.
Yakiniku Like uses individual tabletop grills so each person can cook their own meat. You order a set that comes with beef, rice, soup, and dipping sauces, and the food arrives quickly so you can start grilling right away.
The meat quality is good for the price point and the portions are reasonable. The garlic and soy-based sauces pair well with the grilled beef and add nice flavor.
The restaurant is clean, modern, and designed for efficiency. Seating is compact with individual grill stations, which makes it ideal for solo dining or a quick meal.
Overall, it’s a solid option if you want a fast and casual yakiniku experience in Honolulu.

First time visiting, I enjoyed my time. For the price, especially with the specials, it wasn’t bad at all. Service was fast and food came out quickly. Restaurant was clean. I really liked being able to do all my ordering via the QR code. Just keep in mind, parking is VERY limited here. If you are lucky you might find a spot or street parking, but may end up having to pay for a parking spot next to the restaurant. Though the prices aren’t that bad for parking.
Food was quickly brought to us. Small wait at the door during lunch hours. It's clean and tidy. Not a bad experience I just don't prefer sitting next to strangers. There are little dividers between us and the other people though.

A very affordable Japanese bbq!! Different from AYCE, the menu offers meat in sets and they have a special deal for Decemebr - which $10 for a full set for the top blade! It totaled to $50 for the two of us, which is really affordable compared to other bbq places.
My favorites were the skirt steak and premium kalbi short rib - it was super tender and juicy. I also really like the sauce offerings - notably the garlic crunch and the sweet/tangy sauce. Overall, it’s an amazing affordable spot if you’re craving meat!!!

Great place for very affordable & tasty yakiniku. The November special was excellent - plenty of food for the price ($9.95) for someone with my appetite. The burners/cooking grills were very effective, unlike other places I've had Yakiniku at. There were lots of tables which were comfortable & clean. I will definitely go again with family & friends.

The food here is good. But they say there’s no reservations so when you arrive, you sign your name on a clipboard and they’re supposed to call your name so you can be seated. I guess tonight you were allowed to make reservations. My name got crossed off the list when I was standing right outside the door. For some reason, two other parties got seated ahead of us. When I went inside to check why my name got crossed off the list without being called and asked if they had seen us standing there the gentleman working there said he did see us standing there, but still crossed our name off without calling it. That’s rude. His reasoning that was that there’s a 14 top coming in which I thought there wasn’t reservations. After crossing our name off and already having waited, thinking we were going to be sat since our name was wrongly crossed off the list. He then tells us we should wait another 15 minutes. No thank you. They lost my business tonight. Hope that party of 14 showed up.

This place is great and very affordable compared to other places, we got the October special only 10$ a person and it was so good! :D I was also a bit buzzed from a beer which helped of course, but you have to get a beer right?

I'll just say this up front, go here if you want a quick bite to eat by yourself or maybe a friend. If you're REALLY hungry or have a group, I'd recommend the usual yakiniku spots (All you locals know what I'm talking about)
So I was hyped for this place since trying it in Japan, and it mostly delivers. If you're just craving some grilled meats, rice and sides then you'll be happy here. The service is attentive enough and friendly, and you'll be doing your own ordering off the app after scanning the QR code.
The sides are on the basic side, kimchee (Not the spicy red kind for some reason) salad and miso soup along with your rice. The meats are good quality overall, but my biggest gripe so far is the stove. You NEED something fatty and oily to stoke the grill enough to have the flames come up and give you that good char on your meats. I started with a side order of the premium beef tongue and sadly it just kind of sat there not really getting any char action. Not sure if it's the type of grill they went with, but it's definitely a bummer. I went a second time and ordered some pork belly and that helped quite a bit getting those flames going.
I'm also a little weary on the pricing, I know it's hawaii and all but considering you can get AYCE right down the street for about the same price as the most expensive set here, that's what makes it less enticing for heavy eaters or groups.
Again, it's great for 1 - 2 people who want a quick grilled meats and rice meal. Just wish the grill was more potent as well, and hopefully the pricing/value can be looked at just a little bit to entice more people. Maybe they can offer some more enticing options cause we got a ton of hungry locals in Hawaii. Especially cause of the competition nearby! I'll still be coming here often though for sure.
4/14/25 UPDATE (Added 1 star to the food)
Went back today before the opening special ends tomorrow. Everything was roughly the same but with the added additions of a fine salt and pepper shaker which was VERY appreciated. Definitely enjoyed the meats Abit more with some of that seasoning. Also the grill seemed much better this time around, although I did order an extra amount of nice fatty short rib.
Hope this place sticks around for sure! Maybe even open a little later on weekends for those late night cravings 😊
10/24/25 UPDATE: I'm so happy they're keeping these $9.99 specials, I can gladly say it's a super great value, along with some of the new stuff they added! (ontama egg, suntory 196 and corn cheese being some of my new favs) Overall I can definitely recommend this place to friends or anyone looking for some quick meats and rice. Now my only suggestion is to maybe get some PREMIUM stuff on the menu for those who want to splurge like in Japan with their wagyu/Kobe cuts 😆 I would gladly pay! Also lunch always seems pretty mellow but can definitely get busy for dinner!

Always a good experience. Seated right away with no wait. The staff is friendly and appears alls if you've been there before and how to order. The monthly special is always a good choice! Each month is different but this month (oct) they had an order of chicken added! I recommended ordering the meat with sauce. I usually mix their lemon with the shoyu garlic to have a similar flavor to ponzu. The seating is close but they have dividers in between. The parking lot is really small, but they do have a paid parking nearby, which we had to use because the lot was full.
