Had an absolutely amazing time at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the quality was top notch. The owners were super kind and the service was amazing. We will definitely be visiting again! We just arrived in Hawaii, and my boyfriend found this amazing restaurant. While we were still on the plane, we were able to make a reservation using Google AI, which was such a cool experience. The owner is absolutely wonderful—not only was the food fresh, high-quality, and delicious, but his kindness made the experience even more special.
What was so sweet of him was that he noticed we had a bit of a walk to our car in the rain. Without hesitation, he went back inside, grabbed an umbrella, and brought it out for us, telling us to keep it. We felt like he might need it more, so we returned it, but his thoughtful gesture really stood out. If you’re looking for clean, healthy, and flavorful food with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend this place!

Authentic as fxxk...on top of high quality wagyu at a reasonable price (still expensive, but reasonable for wagyu), they serve things like horamon (beef intestine) or liver sashimi which are only seen at the most authentic yakiniku places in Japan
First time having Yakiniku outside of Japan. The food was amazing, the portions were perfect, the Wagyu was great, the variety of mushrooms were fantastic. The service and atmosphere were wonderful. I looked at a lot of spots online before choosing this one and I definitely wasn't disappointed!

The cuts of meat were REALLY DELICIOUS! Service was good, but it was really busy and packed on a Sunday eve with minimal staff. Otherwise, a GREAT STOP for Japanese BBQ 🤙😎🤙

This is Japan! Too bad they didn’t have marucho but they had shimacho (tecchan/ large intestant) and I was happy. Wish they had liver sashimi cuz I don’t know anywhere else where you can get those here.
I loved the tongue with green onions with lemon juice, washugyu short ribs, harami, yukke (raw beef sashimi with egg yolk), uni and wagyu, the 3 sets of washugyu was great too. I’m from Japan and I like japanese yakiniku so I can guarantee that sizzle is authentic food and experience if you are looking for the same.
