Our family has been coming here for multiple years, and my dad has been coming since he was a baby. One of the best Japanese restaurants in Hawaii. I highly recommend Yanagi to anyone that visits Honolulu. I love coming here and ordering my regular, a kids udon portion with a Shirley temple. I love how whenever I come here my dad has a new story to tell us from the times he was eating here at Yanagi. I absolutely love this place and come here at least once every time we visit....
Really has gone downhill. The soba noodles were gummy, the chawamushi was too strong and even bitter, the chuutoro sushi was meh, the hamachi Kama was dry and chalky. Not going back ever again
One of my Favorite restaurants in Honolulu. I’ve been coming for many years and I leave happy every time. You’d think you’re in Tokyo. Everything is fresh and delicious. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.
