This is my second time coming to Yohei. It is my go to restaurant now every time I come back home to visit. Not only the quality is great but the quantity is lots as well especially for the price. But overall the ambiance and the people are a breath of fresh air. Too bad there is not much great customer service in the restaurant buisness like they do have at “Yohei”. Thank you again so much for the awesome food and service!❤️

Sashimi(fish) was fresh. Tempura was good. Misoyaki Butterfish was excellent.Service was excellent! We like the ambiance. We all enjoyed our food and would come back for more.

Yohei Sushi has been our favorite Japanese restaurant for a very long time. The food and service are always outstanding. Strongly recommend a reservation especially on the weekends. This is a great choice for casual dining out or a special occasion. Love it!

Went for a 7pm reservation, the service was amazing and the waitresses were very attentive but not overbearingly so. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. The food was delicious and I would recommend it to anyone looking for good sushi and Japanese cuisine. There also are bathrooms if you’re too shy to ask, they are to the left through the curtains and they have bidets .Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp into the restaurant

My sister was visiting so I booked reservations at Yohei for dinner. Got there a little early so had to wait a bit. Once seated, service was quick & efficient. The seven of us had a variety of teishoku & a donburi with tea & a couple of beers. The food was great. The tempura is the best we've had.

Some times their waitresses get too busy and make mistakes. Our Sushi was delivered to the next table sat there for a long while no one said anything, then they brought it to our table. I should have sent it back...not kool

Long time favorite restaurant. The staff treats you with the highest level of care. Food is consistently high quality. Construction on Dillingham makes it harder to get here, but it is worth it! From town, take King (or the freeway) to Houghtailing/Waikamilo Rd, and then take a short backtrack on Dillingham to Yohei.

If you want to eat authentic sushi in Hawaii, this is definitely the place, and the sushi ingredients are fresh and well made.If you're tired of Hawaiian food after a mid- to long-term stay, it's worth a visit. It's always busy no matter when you go, so it's best to make a reservation.
