Yummy Korean BBQ – Honolulu
Absolutely terrible experience. The food was disgusting — the kimchi wasn’t even prepared, just raw cabbage with pepper thrown on it. The meat was cold, the rice overcooked, and the broccoli completely raw, like it came straight from a grocery bag. Everything tasted wrong. The place itself was dirty, and I even saw a few cockroaches running around — the cleaner removed them before I could take a photo. Totally unacceptable. Never again.

Very very good tasting chicken, even considering they're in the Food Court.

The bbq beef was so sweet, couldn't taste the meat. It's just not edible, unless you like your meat to taste as if it was dipped in sugar syrup 🤮. It went straight to bin.

I went there Saturday
I called when i got home because my meat (the whole meat) tasted like GAS even my rice. The lady said sometimes it taste like that since they use gas stove. I told her this one taste like literally GAS. She asked for my number so that her manager can call me back but it never happen. I been waiting until now for their call.
Such a bad experience especially i got the food for my kids. I aint feeding my kids if the food taste like fricken GAS! The taste of gas lasted an hour or so in my mouth! ITS REALLY BAD!

Although this is takeout in a food court, I find the quality of food solid and delicious. I had the chicken and kal bi ribs combination plate and it was so much food that I could not finish it all. Two people could share this. The combo also includes 4 banchans of your choice.

Bomb.com had it once when I was on the island and have been thinking about it ever since. I had the spicy chicken, highly recommend.

Love, love, love the bbq chicken plate! No trip to Waikiki is complete without some Yummys! I like the egg, sweet potato, broccoli and noodles as my sides. Bbq chicken is always hot, fresh and my favorite! Highly recommend!

$30 dollars for cold Kalbi. Not worth the price.

While staying in Hawaii for a month, the only thing I really enjoyed eating was ribs... You don't have to tip on purpose because it's okay to not tip.
Never order spicy pork, no BBQ chicken, only ribs here...
There is a regular menu and a mini plate, but the difference is 1 rice and 2 side dishes. As for side dishes, kimchi feels like geotjeori. Just eat japchae and bean sprouts. Spinach too.

Older lady with glasses that took my order gave me a hard time when I asked for extra utensils. I’ve never had this issue before and would recommend management train their staff properly. The food was already so expensive and I even provided a small tip out of courtesy after placing the order.

This was my first time ordering at a food court since I came to the US, and I was calculating so foolishly that I couldn't give a tip.
Since I didn't give a tip, they put the side dishes in a bowl as if they were giving dog food.
I wondered, “Is this how they serve food in America?”
When I went again the next day, it was only then that I saw the tip box in the eyes of a Seoul villager. It's a food court anyway, so just put in $1.
The rice is served more neatly than the day before.
Perhaps because it was closing time, they also added a dumpling.
I don't know if this is the power of the tip or if it varies depending on the employee, but it seems to be a case-by-case situation.

I went to Yeonjjang on the 4th and ate only ribs (since I'm a meat eater), but overall, some of the side dishes were salty, but some were not. The cucumber salad and kimchi are seasoned well. Personally, I recommend seasoned cucumber. When eating ribs that are slightly salty, cucumber seasoning actually balances the seasoning well. ^^
The ribs were a little saltier than Korea's, but not too tough (I didn't know at the time, but this place sells ribs that are a bit tougher than the ribs sold in other places... Of course, it's a taste that you can't get at Han River, a Korean restaurant.)
If you order the mini size, you only get two pieces of meat and one scoop of rice, and you can only choose two side dishes.
If you order the regular size, you can choose four pieces of meat, two scoops of rice, and four side dishes.

I didn't try anything else and only ordered the ribs, but it tasted a bit salty so I ate a lot of it.
I don't know many restaurants that suit my taste, so I think I'll go there often for a while since it's close to my accommodation.
